“Very Nice Hotel”

Room was very clean. The staff was very accomodating giving us a later check out since we had a late flight. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Fast food restaurants within walking distance which was particulary helpful since we didn't arrive until 9 and had not had dinner. Would definately stay there again!

Spent 2 nights here before our cruise. Lovely hotel, excellent breakfast buffet. Very nice pool and sitting area. Great location, shopping, restaurants all a very short walk. Would certainly stay here again if we are back in Miami

We chose this hotel because we could leave our car parked there while we were on a cruise and a compimentary shuttle was provided to the cruiseport. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice suite. The location was good. We enjoyed visiting the Publix supermarket across the street to stock up on soda for our cruise. The breakfast was very good.

However, we were very unhappy with the shuttle to the cruiseport. When we checked in, we asked to be booked on the 11:00 shuttle. The desk clerk filled out a form. She also told us that when we got the shuttle, we could make arrangements with the shuttle service for our return to the hotel after our cruise. The shuttle to the cruiseport was complimentary, but the return would be paid by us. We arrived in the lobby at 10:45 to pick up the shuttle. The lobby was already crowded with people waiting.When we asked about a return shuttle we were handed a business card and told to call that number when we arrived back after the cruise A van arrived at 11:00 but it could not accomodate everyone in the lobby who wanted the shuttle. . We had to wait until 11:30 for a shuttle. When the shuttle arrived, there was exactly enough seats for the people waiting, but on seat was very broken, slanting to the floor. A couple did sit there but they were very uncomfortable.

When our cruise returned to Miami we called the shuttle number, and the person answering said that someone else would call us back. Rather than waiting, we decided to take a cab. They were waiting right there at the cruiseport. We didn't want to wait for a call from the shuttle service, not knowing how long it would take them to get to us . The shuttle would have cost 10 per person, and the cab was $27.

The hotel was great, but the shuttle was terrible.

I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to share your comments which started by praising our staff, accommodations and location. Usually the word "but" is followed by a bad experience - sorry yours was with our vendor in charge of the Port transportation. Our vendors are an extension of our image and we apologize for failing you in your Port transportation services. Your comments have been shared with this company and we have their commitment they are taking the necessary steps to avoid the repetition of similar situations.

I stayed here for business purposes and everything was excellent. I had a suite which was well kept. Surrounding area has plenty of restaurants to choose from. The staff was extremely friendly in the a.m and p.m. I had one minor issue which was quickly resolved. Felt very safe staying alone here.

As in other hot areas during high season the price was not wallet-friendly. However, it was all it should have been to carry the name. There were no surprises. The manager's complimentary buffet was nice, and breakfast was up to standard.

Not bad for one night but needs recapitalization. Water pipes behind our room were quite noisy every time someone above our room was used his/her bathroom. Hard to fall asleep with that noise. Staff were nice but next time we will go to a newer hotel.

Clean rooms, quiet place to stay before we went on a cruise. Nice pool area to hang out and very good breakfast. Location close to several restaurants - walking distance. Only negative was the pool was way to cold to swim in it.

One of our biggest market segment is guests staying with us prior to embarking on a cruise. We have the ideal location, proximity to the airport and Port of Miami, restaurants and stores within walking distance, parking and a varied breakfast buffet. Although our pool is heated only by Mother Nature, I hope you did have a chance to enjoy some relaxation time in our heated Jacuzzi during your stay.
