We were in the Mandarin Oriental for a week. It started with a pleasant upgrade to 17 floor/ ocean view room (1723), space room, space bathroom, large balcony, well equipped and maintained. Great and up to date gym, mice pool outside, great restaurant, secluded on a small man made island yet 10’ walking to a noble mall close by. Great place for the city trip.

Recently celebrated my boyfriend's birthday at the Mandarin Oriental in Miami. We were simply blown away by the service. This was the most relaxing staycation we've had for some time, and it was well worth it. The views from the Junior Bay View Suite were delightful during the day and spectacular at night. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The bathroom layout allows you to fully take in the view from the tub (totally unexpected!). Opt for in-room dining at breakfast, but try not to loaf for the better part of the day like we did. If you are a local and are looking for some rest and relaxation in an upscale and tranquil environment, come to the Mandarin Oriental.

Room Tip: Room 1809 is a Junior Bay View Suite fairly close to the elevators.

Nice hotel. Needs an update. Staff is very good. Great location and within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping. Easy access from freeway and other hotels in the area. Rooms are nice and big but in need of update.

Room Tip: Get a superior room.

This was our first stay at the Mandarin and I was really excited since I have heard wonderful things about the hotel & Spa located in downtown Miami....I was not disappointed. Although the rooms could use an update the attention to detail the staff gives each guest can't be downplayed. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left every employee went out of their way to make our experience top notch! We have stayed at a lot of highly rated hotels across the world and sometimes a property falls short of quite living up to your expectations and I have learned over time the reason typically falls on the staff(s) ability to go above and beyond....which comes down to management. Here, they are getting it right! Example...we were in the elevator going to our room and there was a room service attendant with a beautiful tray of fruit & treats...we of course commented on how lovely it was....a half hour later he delivered to our room a similar tray & a bottle of champagne on the house. You can't get better than that!
The room itself was nice, clean & neat....kinda a typical room but had a very comfortable bed and nice size bathroom....could use more counter space in the bath. We had a fantastic view of downtown Miami (beautiful at night) on a spacious balcony.
The spa is worth visiting.....I tried an new massage treatment that was exceptional. My husband enjoyed the steam room/sauna after he worked out in the well appointed gym.
The pool is a bit small but they cater to your every need with complimentary treats delivered to your chair, nice bar and food service at a click of a button.
Breakfast was also very good with a large variety of choices from the menu or buffet which was very good for a buffet.
I have recommended this hotel to many of my friends since we live in South Florida. It is a wonderful place to get away from it all.
The location is convenient to downtown attractions and a short drive to South Beach.
I think this hotel is better for adults/couples.
We can't wait to go back & I hope you have a chance to experience this wonderful hotel.

Hands down the best hotel in the Brickell/downtown Miami area. The lobby is very clean and from the moment you walk in you are greeted with excellent service.

The rooms are extremely clean, the service is excellent and the restaurant downstairs has great seafood. I loved it here.
