Very new and modern hotel in the middle of downtown Miami. Walk to the Metromover to get around the city and enjoy the downtown area. Nice accommodations, great location, comparatively reasonably priced. Good breakfast and easy in and out parking. Staff was exceptionally friendly and happy which made the experience much better. Would definitely stay again ion our next Miami visit!

Room Tip: Had a room overlooking pool. Looked nice at night when lit. Quite.

This hotel in Miami turned out to be one of the best hotels during our trip to the United States. The reception was really nice and professional, the rooms were large, bright and airy, very friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast here was the best in our entire trip. The location was just next to the free Metromover and Trolley stops, 7/11 round the corner, all in all a very comfortable and easy to access location

I only stay at Hilton/Hampton properties for business and I have to say that this is one of the nicest locations they have. Beautiful lobby, welcome gratis drink from the bar, very large business center (if you need it) and easy parking.

Staff was friendly and king study room was spacious. Overall, a nice place to stay business or pleasure!

Room Tip: If you want a view, ask for a room not facing the construction site.

My husband stayed all week on business at this #1 Tripadvisor ranked hotel and worked a lot from his room and had no problem parking in "his" space in the parking garage - just use your room key to enter and exit. $18/day. When he picked me up, he was still calling the Hampton the #1 hotel in Miami, so he must have had a good experience all week. For Gold and Platinum Hilton HHonors members, you get a really nice free snack and drink care package (1 water; 1 Coke and various snack foods).

Great location was in a very nice part of the city with lots of restaurants and bars (nightlife), stores within a 3 block radius. A 7-11 and Publix grocery store were near by. The Publix was on the street side of the Shops at Mary Brickell Villege square. We got a 20 pack of water at 7-11 for $3.99 (it was the smallest pack size) which was open later than the Publix. A bottle of water was $1.00. Starbucks and PF Changs was also near by.

We ate at "Dolores but you can call me Lolita" restaurant which has a nice appetizer and dinner combination for a good price. Oceanaire seafood restaurant was pricey but the outside seating had good priced appetizers and drinks special menu (available all night) which we had for dinner. Havana 1957 Cuban restaurant was several blocks away but had delicous chicken and a huge assortment of mojitas and rum.

The hotel decor was beautifully modern and open with high celings. This is the nicest Hampton I have stayed in and it was close to the upscale, modern W hotel decor. The room and bathroom was spacious and the bathroom sink had a large vanity (good for lots of women's essentials) and a roomy shower. The lobby and eating area and bar had the high ceiling and fun, funky chairs and benches. We were able to find a seat on Saturday and Sunday when it was more crowded for breakfast. The artwork was really neat (push a button to start the ball through a series of drops) on the wall near the bar and the "live" artwork (a video that uses a famous painting with actors that move in and out of it).

The breakfast was a better version of my previous Hampton or free breakfasts. It seemed to stay open until 10:00 am on the weekend. Make your own waffles, hot eggs (scrambled one day; cheese omelete the next), meat (bacon, then sausage the next), French Toast (it was not very good) or potatoes with peppers (some hadn't been microwaved enough). Wonderful sliced fresh fruit (melon, pineapple, blueberries, raspberries) . Bagels and pastries. European breakfast (ham, turkey, salami) and cheeses (Swiss, mozarella, and one other), and rolls. Juices. Yogurt. The free coffee and tea stations (always available) had nice, hot coffee for breakfast. In the afternoon/evening, the bold coffee tended to be lukewarm and the regular coffee hotter. Nice selection of teas and coffee creamers as well (regular, hazelnut, french vanilla) that were always well stocked.

The rooftop pool (4' 6" depth) and hot tub had nice lounge chairs and a few free cabana sofas with drapes. There was a dual pool bar (opens at 5:00 pm) which also served the lobby. You get a card for one free wine, beer, or soda. Towels were available by the pool.

2 of the 3 elevators were working, so sometimes there was a wait. The front desk staff was friendly and usually smiled or said hello as we passed by from the elevators. They even tried to help us answer a question by researching it online.

We also had booked a room at the Beacon Hotel on South Beach (see my other review) for Sunday night. It would have been an estimated $30 taxi ride (each way) to South Beach per the Concierage.

All in all, I am glad I stayed at the #1 Tripadvisor hotel in Miami. The decor, amenities, and great location made it worthwhile.

The good: the entree modern reception , the Breakfast area really a big plus (best Breakfast we had here during our roundtrip) , nice Welcome drink, easy to park (unfortunatly 18$ a night extra), room is clean

The okay : the rooms were not what we expected at all . Bit outdated but clean. Beds felt okay but we like softer (close to hard matrass) same for bathroom outdated but okay.

The bad: price if you compare it with yr expectations with the high score on reviews

At the moment this hotel seems to be number 1 of 131 hotels in Miami - and that is basically all you need to know. I had high expectations after reading all the positive reviews but still the hotel managed to exceed my expectations.

First impressions: Plenty of parking available, concierge desk on the ground floor with maps etc. and hotel reception in upper (5th?) floor. Warm welcome, I asked for an upgrade to King Room and got it.

Room: King room with a nice downtown view (highrise buildings, MetroMover). Very modern, plenty of space.

Breakfast was one of the best ever (if you leave out the full breakfasts at Hilton that cost you 20 USD) - and it is free! Plenty of different sorts, always good availability, plenty of staff taking care of bringing new food, cleaning tables etc. Great service there (as everywhere in this hotel).

Nice pool and whirlpool. At first I thought it was quite small but it was never crowded.

Location is great, you can even walk to many dinner restaurants. Or take MetroMover, very convenient.

The management of this hotel will surely soon be managing a bigger or higher-value hotel, fabulous job with this property.

I will definitely go back next time I'm staying in downtown Miami.

Room Tip: High floor for better views

Stayed here for one night for honeymoon before leaving to Carnival Cruise. Staff treated us amazing! We were kindly greeted upon check-in and when we got into our room not even 5 minutes later a knock was at the door, and the staff surprised us with a wedding gift of champagne, peanuts, chocolate, and cookies! And a card congratulating us on our wedding. It was so sweet! The room was sparkling clean and the bed was so comfortable and the staff was amazing. We loved our stay here and we will only go there if we visit Miami again!! And they gave us the top floor!

Room Tip: Try to get the top floor!
