I bought the tour from living social. What a mistake! All I can say is that the tour is terrible especially if you want to hop on and off, instead of sitting on bus for the entire tour.

(1) The bus does not stop at each stop unless you ask them before reaching the specific stop. And the tour guide does NOT tell you that they operate this way in advance. Go figure it out yourself. We wanted to visit the Biltmore Hotel, but ended up getting off at Venetian Pool and walking back to Biltmore Hotel by ourselves because the bus passed the Biltmore Hotel without stopping and asking if anyone wanted to get off.

(2) Not all tour guides talk during the tour. One tour guide hid downstairs without saying a single word while the bus passed two stops. Another tour guide talked mostly in Spanish with only a few words in English.

(3) Never on time! The bus is always late even at the original starting point. At one stop (Little Havana), the bus stopped for about 15 mins and the tour guide asked everybody to get off simply because he wanted to take a break himself. After about 12 mins, the bus drove away out of a sudden with no notice and left several visitors behind (and furious).

Luckily, we had a Groupon two for one deal for this tour for two days, we only did the one day as we were so disappointed with what we saw. Miami is so 'hyped' up with the information and place to visit that when we went we were super excited about getting off the bus and exploring places. To see that all or at least most of the places we were scheduled to stop were so run down we stayed on the bus. The guides didn't seem all that knowledgeable at all and we're not sure that the info we got at some points was even correct!
The other downside to this tour was we had a tropical rainstorm hit, being on an open top bus isn't much fun when this happens, we had some ponchos (free from the guides) but by the time we got these on we were soaked and at the bottom of the bus unable to really see out.
All in all, not recommending this tour at all

the tour was well worth it. it is a hop on hop off tour with two different routes. one is the beach route and the other is the city route. the tour guide was very informative. it takes 3hours to do the full tour if you don't get off. you see all the major sites for Miami. they gave out ponchos when it started raining which was helpful. they make one stop to this Cuban restaurant where you can get some good food! try it

The website needs to be updated. The schedule is wrong and they expect people to know that. We were waiting at a bus stop for 15 mins and then we call the company and they say we need to wait another 30 mins. Terrible !!

Since I try to have a city tour wherever I go BEFORE doing anything else, I wanted my friends from Spain to have the best possible first glance at Miami and Miami Beach and so I invited them to take a tour on these buses...and it was a great success! As its common in this kind of service they have the taped narration of the tour in several languages, but they also have a great group of guides who really made the difference. By the way I live in Miami but I could discover amazing places heard a bunch of nice new stories about it. Highly recomended!
