Owner description: Established in the 1800s by a worldly group of pioneers, sailors, artists, naturalists, millionaires, and intellectuals, Coconut Grove is Miami's oldest neighborhood and still maintains its historic charm. The Grove offers visitors an enticing mix of shops, boutiques, and lively outdoor cafes set amid a laid-back village by the bay. “This place has my heart”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 August 2014

I absolutely love Coconut Grove. It's a nice little escape from the craziness that is Miami, just a laid back place that I loved calling home. The bars and restaurants are great and most are within walking distance of everything. This place is completely outdoors so you can enjoy the Miami climate whether you are shopping, dining or just taking a walk down to the bay.

From GreenStreet to Lulu's to Peacock Cafe and The Grove Spot you can find a place for almost everyone. I suggest this neighborhood to anyone visiting Miami, especially if they don't know anything outside of South Beach. Great place to live and visit!

“very nice place”

We enjoyed eating, drinking and shopping there. Not too big but still a nice place that gives you something to do for a couple of hours.

“Love the Grove feel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

Coconut Grove is simply a charming place, full of life, a laid back neighborhood with a European feel. Strolling the streets is great, as you will encounter a nice amount of outdoor places where you can simply sit, sip, relax or enjoy a great meal. Last week-end, I had the pleasure of having brunch at a place called GreenStreet, located at the corner of Main highway and Commodore Plaza. It seems I wasn't the only one, as crowds of regulars were enjoying the same. Shopping is fun as well, lots of quaint little stores.

“Beautiful and expensive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014

Despite the title it's amazing spend a day, or maybe half if you can't stay longer, cycling on pathways and see people and all the nature hiding there. If you don't want biking alone you can choose do it with some other people on selected Saturdays which they have historic and ecology bike tours, and it's totally free. I can't remember the name of the company that offers the tour, sorry guys.

“Mix of Tuscany, Bohemia and Meditteranean”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 July 2014

This is a beautiful place to be... we took a tour of the coconut grove and was amazed by the rich fusion of cultures. The architectural mix of houses in the grove is an electic mix, something of interest for the individual who admires the fusion of cultures.
