Amazing fresh squeezed tropical juice. I think watermelon is the best! Delicious pastries, fruits, chicken, rice, maduros. Too many choices all good. Cuban sandwiches & cuisine. Lots of Cuban, Spanish foods for purchase! Coco frio (fresh coconut juice) also available

“Legendary Miami Cuban Food”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Can't say much but this is as Miami as it gets. Legendary cuban food, friendly neighborhood place and affordable prices. I've been here & the Flagler location many times and haven't posted review cause this place doesn't need an introduction :) This is my go to place for pork, paella, rice & beans and chicharones. Its always busy but the service is swift. The servers behind the counter are always ready for you to point and scoop your selections...and they have endless variety. Plenty of outdoor seating in all locations. Budget friendly prices...highly recommend for any first time visitor to Miami and of course for the locals. Try the chicharones..see my pics.

“Home cooking, straight from Havana”
Reviewed 10 September 2013

It helps to know Spanish, but everyone here is helpful and friendly, even if you don't.

I took my husband and my cousin and they were a bit freaked out by how authentic it is, but once they tasted the food, their trepidation morphed into contented munching.

This is an outdoor restaurant. You can get food inside, but you take it out to the shaded patio to eat (or to go). One way to go is a hot food bar, just point and they'll load up a styrofoam container full of whatever you want. We got paella, congri, maduros, ropa vieja, and lechon. Or in English, yellow rice with sausage, chicken and pork, black beans and white rice with sausage, fried sweet plantains, shredded beef in a tomato sauce and roasted pork. If your mouth isn't watering, I dispair of you.

Once you're sorted out with the food situation, you get your drinks. There's a juice bar with all sorts of fresh juice. We had Pineapple and Limeade. The pinapple juice was fresh and sweet, and the limeade was perfectly tart and sweet.

They also have a sandwich bar for a Cuban Sandwich or a Media Noche. Beer is served as well.

It's a bit of an adventure and parking is tricky, but I encourage you to go. It's so, so good!
