Checked in with no trouble at all, was given a very nice room with a king bed and partial ocean view. Bed was so comfortable!

Business center was nice but a little tucked away

Restaurant food wasn't too badly priced.

Despite the renovations the hotel seemed to be functioning quite well.

Perfect location for a pre night cruise stay as it's very close to the pier.

Short distance from Bay View Marketplace for shopping.

Property is wrapping up their renovations. Don't be scared by this. Your only inconveniences are parking and a longer wait for the elevator. Restaurants and lounges have relocated to smaller ball rooms on an upper floor. Rooms are still clean, comfortable and offer great water viewsof the east.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before we went on our first cruise out of Miami. This hotel was very clean and comfortable. Even though they are remodeling the staff made check in very easy. We did have breakfast in their resturant and the food was good but quite expensive for a breakfast of $18 each. The bed was very comfortable and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great hotel even though they are doing a huge renovation. No noise on the weekend!! We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise. As a Platinum member I was treated like royalty. My feeling is that everyone would be treated the same at this hotel. I can see that parking could be an issue as the enterance / arrival level is on the 3rd floor. They have a lot of staff that shuttle you from the 3rd level to the main level if you are walking, so it was NOT an issue.
There are shops under the hotel but if you are looking for a grocery store, go out to the street level and go north 2 blocks and to the right 3 blocks. 10 minute walk at the most. They have everything!!! The store down below is VERY expensive.
We took the mono-rail over to Bayside (free) and shopped and had something to eat. Very nice place to see and shop. Took a cab back to the hotel later that evening.
Once the renovations are complete and things re-opened to the proper areas, it will be a 5 star.
