This hotel is small and clean with a good bed and an excellent shower. The negatives would be very thin walls, no view, no pool and no gym. Parking was an extra $25 per day so not a big bargain when all is said and done.

We apologize that you were not more thrilled with your stay at the Impala Hotel. We strongly encourage our guests to inform us of any needs they have as we can assist in accommodating with amenities that are not on our immediate property. As for the gym we do partner with the local gym (Crunch) around the corner and guest passes ($10) are available at the front desk. Since we are setback from the major roads we indeed do not have a view but this is what allows us to be so quiet in such a busy location. For future reference, our Grand suite has an over-sized balcony overlooking Collins avenue with long chairs and is more suitable if you want a view. The parking rate is normal and standard for South Beach but when you’re here if you are staying local, you will never need your car since everything is pretty much in walking distance. Thank you for you review and hopefully next time you are with us, we can better assist you to make your stay a more pleasurable one.

We recently escaped the latest snowmageddon in DC to stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. In addition to being ecstatic about being in 80 degree weather we were also very pleased with the warm friendly atmosphere. The staff were engaging doing everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. It is a central location for exploring South Beach. Add to that very reasonable pricing, and you have a hotel that we would recommend highly.

We used the public parking across the street and walked everywhere.

Room Tip: We used the public parking across the street and walked everywhere.

We are pleased to know that we were a good choice for escaping the "snowmageddon" in DC. Hopefully while you were here, you were able to bottle up some of the Sunshine and take it back with you. Here at the Impala Hotel we treat our guest the way we like to be treated when travelling. We are glad that you enjoyed the hotel and our location. Whenever you need a “great escape” please do not hesitate to come back and stay with us (we have this great weather year round). Thank you again for choosing the Impala Hotel….until next time!

Hotel was nice and bed was amazing. Our room was next to a staircase and we could hear other people going on and off the hotel (one night there was a lot of noise). The Valet parking was awful! Valet was in the 13th street and there was never (I mean not once) nobody around. We had to leave our car keys in the front desk every day. They said that it will take 20 minutes to get the car, sometimes the valet guys left our car keys to front desk and sometimes we had to wait the car on the street (after the 20 minutes waiting in our room). One night when we came back, there was no space at the valet and the lady at the front desk said we had to wait the valet guys to show up. We waited for 20 minutes and nobody showed up. On the day we left it took over 50 minutes to get our car..

Thank for your review and we pleased to know that despite your experiences with valet, your actual stay with us was nice. Again we apologize for the parking inconveniences that you and others experienced while with us. Although there is no valid excuse for the delays experienced, we do ask guest to keep in mind the activities and road construction that are taking place in the city. These are the major contributing factors that cause traffic issues and driving delays. This is why we advise guest on the estimated time frame to request your car in advance. We have addressed these issues with the valet company management and things have been better. On your next visit we us we hope to have this issue rectified and that way your stay can be even more pleasant. We look forward to seeing you again here at the Impala Hotel!

It was a very warm welcome, all members of the staff are very friendly. Our room on the ground floor and the bath room were well equipped in african style. And the best is the beach bag, go straight to the atlantic ocean, just a few steps.
The next day you will start with a nice french breakfast in the quiet and relaxing atmosphere of the Spiga restaurant.
Furthermore you are invited for a good shopping tour in South Beach, especially the Art Deco District.
We will come back.

Our goal is to offer great service and we are glad you were able to enjoy your Impala Hotel experience while in South Beach. We want all of our guest to enjoy the beautiful beaches and that’s why we provided the beach bags and towels as an amenity. Good to know that you took advantage of the many things we have to offer, including our breakfast which includes, but not limited to French Viennoiseries. At the Impala Hotel, we bring a touch of the European flavor to South Beach. Thank you for your kind review and we await your return.

Located at Collins Ave, close to the beach. Difficult to find, sign not very obvious, which is a shame, as you get top quality and service. Look for restaurant Spiga located in hotel premiseses.
No road noise, but noisy aircon. Good beds, tasteful decor. Attentive reception service.
The 10$ breakfast is worth it!

Will certainly return.

I've stayed at Hotel La Flora (right next door) and much preferred the Impala. Their service was excellent - very friendly, always present and very helpful. The restaurant in the hotel has amazing homemade pasta and you can't beat the location. One important word of advice to near-future travelers - don't use the valet parking service. It's no fault of the hotels, but on Monday morning at 11 am, we waited close to two hours for our car. There was no attendant on duty when we arrived so we waited 20 minutes and then called the number on the stand to contact someone. They said they arrive in 4 minutes and we didn't see them for another 30 minutes. We went back to the hotel to ask if they could help and they called for us as well but it still took close to two hours total to get our car. I would recommend waiting to find a spot in the lot right next door and just remembering to fill the meter. It costs about the same ($25/day) and you have access to your car right away. It's hard to find a spot in the lot at times, especially on the weekends, but it's worth circling and waiting to drop off your car rather than having to wait so long if you need your car to get to a reservation or back to the airport.

The hotel itself was excellent, the beds were comfortable and it was really quiet. If you visit, tip them all well, they deserve it.

Room Tip: We had room 204 and loved it as it was a corner room tucked back a bit, but I don't think you co...

Thank you for choosing the Impala Hotel. We never compare ourselves to other properties (we consider ourselves to be one of a kind) but we are glad to know we are preferred in comparison to our neighbors. We are pleased that you were able to have a comfortable stay with us and an amazing dinner at Spiga. The staff appreciates your gratitude and generosity throughout your stay and at check out. As for the valet, the normal wait time for a car should be 20 minutes and less and 2 hours is definitely inexcusable. We sincerely apologize for the valet experience and we have brought these reviews to the attention of the valet company management and they have been doing a lot better. As you mentioned, there are other parking options available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and we encourage our guest to use the option that is most convenient to them. Our goal is to make sure that your overall stay is a pleasurable experience. We look forward to seeing you again

This hotel is very small but it's inexpensive and very well maintained. I especially liked the small staff who were very friendly.

My bed was super comfy and the bedding seemed pretty new. The bathroom was spacious and the shower was huge!

I would totally stay here again.

Also, it's 1 block from the beach and in a great location overall.

Thank you again for choosing the Impala Hotel and taking the time to review your stay with us. You are right, we are a small (17 rooms) and well maintained property. Because we are so small the staff here is able to remember names and faces to add an additional touch of personalization to each of our guest. We want every guest to feel special during your visit with us. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at the Impala Hotel and we look forward to future stays from you and your friends
