Like others we found this hotel to be the ideal base for our three day visit to Miami Beach. If you love Art Deco you can't go wrong staying here -- you'll be in the middle of the coolest beach front in North America. Others have mentioned the beach chairs and towels. The swimming is fine too. The room was good -- ours had a 1970s theme -- and the bed was comfortable. We appreciated the air conditioning. The free breakfast and happy hour drinks were a treat. And the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This isn't luxury, and the art deco design is the building, not the interior. Coffee making facilities would have been nice, but that was the only thing we found wanting. All in all a very enjoyable place to stay.
