We booked the Riveria through Priceline and when we got there the rooms were not large enough to accomodate our family. The staff particularly Neka at the front desk worked very hard to find us alternative accomodations for our group. We were able to upgrade to a family suite and Neka worked hard to negoitiate a rates for us. Neka went above and beyond to ensure that we had enough room for our family without exhausting our budget. She was truly the cherry on top right from the time of our check in experience. Eric one of the fabulous bellmen was also exceptional. He was able to point us in the direction of great eats nearby and even gave us a quater to feed the meter one night until we could go and get change. He had a pleasant and helpful attitude his presonality was impressionable and made a lasting impression on us for having great customer service skills. The Long Haired security guard in building 1 was also a great conversationalist and helped us keep track of the goings and comings of the the group of teenagers we had with us. Thanks for the help :) The Rooms were very nice and mini bar was stocked with anything you could even think of needing or wanting from the store or bar. Water pressure sucks in the shower and the toilets. Parking is pricey but its South Beach I guess. It would be nice if they were a little more competitive with parking rates maybe $25 per day would make you more than likely to take valet parking instead of $35. Overall the suite was wonderful and we were able to cook and let the windows out over the stove so smells would not stay trapped in with us. I as well as my family will definately stay again soon :) Please work on that water pressure you guys. There is nothing more relaxing than a forceful hot shower after being on the beach with sand every where you can imagine. Thanks again for the great stay Neka, Eric and also the waitress in the bistro with the redish hair she rocked also :)

Room Tip: The suites have all amenities needed especially if traveling with family or if you and your signific...

Hello there danyell s,

Thank you for taking your time to share your honest feedback with us! We are indeed a boutique hotel, therefore our rooms are a bit smaller then your average hotel room. We offer rooms that are larger for those guests who need more space. I am glad that we were able to accommodate you with one of our larger rooms. You are absolutely right – Eric knows everything there is to know about South Beach and he will show you a Kanye-good time. It seems like you enjoyed everything that we have to offer. Please come back and stay with us again in the future. We would love to have you! :)

We booked this hotel for a quick honeymoon getaway several months ahead of time. We talked with a hotel representative twice and were told we would have a nice room overlooking the pool. She promised we would be happy and to not worry.

When we checked in we were given a room overlooking the roof of another building with no view of the pool or the street. The furniture was uncomfortable with a queen bed and the internet service was terrible. I complained, but Alicia said that no certain type of room can be promised and they were working on fixing the internet without any apologize.

I would never stay at this hotel again and would urge everyone to do the same. Thanks for the nice honeymoon Riviera.

I am still also waiting for the manager to called me since they asked me for my number when I was checking out.

We stayed here for a few days on a priceline express deals and was pleasantly surprised. The room wasn't huge but a nice size. Bed was very comfortable. No view from the windows but that was ok. The extra fees they add on is kinda crazy. Daily resort fees of $16 and valet of $35. Which I are kinda forced to do unless u want to walk blocks to a garage. All street parking is metered so u catch what I'm saying. Being quoted one prove then adding over $50 a day kinda sucks. But welcome to south beach lol! I enjoyed the free happy hour from 7-8pm and the staff was excellent! All in all I enjoyed my stay and would stay again

16$ Resort fee, ok. Knew that. Valet parking is 35 by now. 16$ parking in the public parking on 16th street. Miami beach standard. The rooms however are REALLY nice, not size, but style. Especially those with a balcony and two doubles. An hour of free longdrinks is also a good way to make your guests feel welcome. The two pools are small but cool. No coffeemaker and no regular coffee somewhere in the lobby area are a bit of a downer in the morning. Though there is the chance to get a free espresso. In general i liked it a lot.

Hello there Roundtrip23,

We appreciate the time you took to share your feedback with us, regarding your recent experience. Valet parking is indeed $35 but, you are able to take you car in and out as many times as you'd like in 24 hours. The public parking is $16 every time you want to take your car in and out. So for those guests who will be using their car a lot in a day, the cheapest bet would be to valet park. I see that you were able to take advantage of the complimentary cocktail hour from 7-8PM. It's always a fun time and a great way to start the night. Please come back soon!

The hotel is close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We took a cab from the airport and the hotel was easy to find. Pedro offered excellent service at the front desk when we arrived; he answered many of our questions about the hotel and surrounding area. Rooms are somewhat small but laid out well and very up to date. We really enjoyed the outside bar/restaurant area (Moreno's), and can't go wrong with complimentary happy hour from 7-8. Overalls very happy with the room, location, service, and value.

My best friend and I stayed at the Riviera this week and it was indeed a beautiful hotel. We were pleasantly surprised as the trip was booked via hotwire and its sometimes a let down when you see the hotel. The location is awesome very close to the beaches etc. Upon check in we were greeted by the front desk agent (the one that works the afternoon shift) who was quite rude and unfriendly. Not only did she make us wait because she claimed" someone was ahead of us" which was not so, but she was quite unpleasant. Also we took forever and a day to get our car everytime we requested it from the valet. Other than that the stay was quite pleasant. The bellboys were very helpful, the bartenders at the restaurant were awesome and the server Mia was pleasant and welcoming as well. The food at the restaurant is also quite tasty and inexpensive and the restaurant Maxine's is also great. We ate there alot. Didnt really get a chance to check out the pool but it looked nice but was very small. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Be sure to request a double room or you would be stuck with a King size bed and a charge to change i...

Well hello there Nikola C and thank you for sharing your review with us! We are located in a quiet residential neighborhood just blocks away from the hot spots. I wish that you would have collected the name of the front desk agent that was rude. We always advise our guests to call for their cars 30-45 minutes prior to them needing it. The food at Maxine's is indeed delicious and reasonably priced. We hope to see you again soon!
