This small museum housed in the first synagogue in Miami Beach tells the story of the Jewish experience in FL. Very interesting to learn about the history beginning with those with Ponce de Leon in St. Augustine in the 1500's. It's nearby to South Beach. I also ate in an Israeli kosher little restaurant nearby that the helpful, friendly staff at the museum told me about; they served falafel, humus, salad, swarma, etc. The entrance fees are very reasonable--about $6.
