The hotel is conveniently located next to the beach has plenty of character. This is a great place to stay and, in many ways, highly recommended. The staff were all friendly and seemed happy to help.

The decor is funky although it does feel somewhat "over-the-top" in parts, almost like a nightclub. I had hoped to see more original architectural details intact but alas the rooms were all remodelled.

The room itself was a bit small, well equipped but had completely inadequate lighting. (Guests can, in fact, request extra room lighting if necessary which suggests this is a common complaint.) The lavatory and shower cubicle offers little, if any, privacy from the actual bedroom. Everything was very clean.

The pool area is pleasant and serviced by attentive staff. The pool menu is limited but perfectly adequate and not overly pricey.

Would stay again but not at any price. The rates aren't cheap and there's plenty of competition in the area...

Room Tip: The walls are quite thin. Stay away from the lift and stairs.

Green Features: Don't think it has any (except the usual request to keep linen changes to a minimum).

This boutique hotel is in the heart of Miami, a real warm welcoming. Rooms are all really nice and clean - low lighting but very different and an experience! Definitely recommend for a weekend stay it's central to Ocean drive, Miami South beach and all the bars / restaurants.

Enough with the blue lights already. Our room was the size of an office cubicle and we could hear every sound from inside and outside the hotel. That being said the bed was comfortable and the room was immaculate. I was a little disappointed in the rooftop pool as it was tiny. The chaise chairs filled up quickly but were clean and comfortable though they pack a whole lot of them into a small deck. Perhaps it was the time of year but there seemed to be a ton of college age folks who were accustomed to getting whatever they wanted from mommy and daddy and they weren't shy about showing it off. The staff seemed nice and our check in and check out with the front desk folks was great. But no plans to stay there again.

A truly “dream” location – in the heart of Art Deco; white sand beach is literally across the street. Hotel provides beach lounge chairs with clean covers – staff is very helpful and courteous. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance, so unless you plan to venture out daily, rental car is not necessary.
Don’t miss rooftop pool with bar – cannot think of better place to spend afternoon sipping on delicious coctail!
Standard rooms are rather small, so I suggest booking a junior suite which is really the size of typical hotel room elsewhere. Décor is modern and very cool. I saw some reviewers complained about lighting, but I found it to be adequate... once you figure out how to work the lights!-:).
I would not recommend this hotel for families with children: bathroom has glass door which provides no privacy at all. (A matte/stained glass would be easy solution to this "problem"). There is an Italian restaurant next door (shared between two hotels) – it services absolutely delicious lunches and breakfast. Friend and I loved chicken and mango salad and poached eggs for breakfast. It is safe to say that “Dream” hotel is the best value combined with equally great service in SoBe.

Just come back from 6 nights here. Very happy with stay and loved the decor. Yes the lighting can be tricky so I did my make up outside but it did not bother me.
The bed was amazing but don't take room 355 as it sounded like the cleaners were having a party and I think the supplies were opposite my door so felt like Piccadilly circus sometimes!
The food in restaurant was very nice but I did find the manager stand offish and the service could be a bit hit and miss.
The pool was very nice but the DJ was a bit annoying as I just wanted to chill out so ended up going to beach.
TIP- Avoid the "deals" on Ocean Drive! $20 for cocktail and awful food.
There is a great place about 10 minutes walk away called Esponola Way and very nice mexican, cuban and italian there.
Ladies if you want to shop there is a Victorias secret and Sephora down the road and we went to a lovely mall called Aventura mall which is about 30 minutes in taxi.
I would stay here again though and the Yossef was lovely and he is the Concierge. Kicking myself as forgot to tip him.
The continental breakfast was yummy but there is fun diner just across the street if you want a proper american breakfast

Room Tip: Avoid room 355

This is the second time in a Dream Hotel. The first one was in Bangkok. They seem to have a fixation for blue lightning in the rooms. And, strangely enough, makes them look good! In fact, the rooms are tastefully designed, with a great shower. The hotel has a really nice rooftop swimming pool lounge and cocktail bar, where you can go at night (complimentary cocktails for offer if you answer their online survey). It is centrally located in South Beach, with the beach on the back street. They give complimentary towels and chairs to use there as well. It was not that cheap, but we would stay there again.

Room Tip: our room on the 7th floor had lots of noise from the A/C conducts. We complained and they gave compl...
