“Great and Close!”

This was a great little place right off of the main drag, where the prices are cheap, the food authentic, and the coffee sweet and strong. Highly recommend!

“Best Cuban sandwich in Miami”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 May 2014

This place also has fantastic plantains and the best empanadas I've eaten. The fish sandwich is pretty much to die for. It's not fancy one bit, and seating is very limited, but the food is phenomenal. I don't speak Spanish, so thank goodness for some customers who were local that explained how it works. There is no menu. The cash register is by the door. Walk all the way to the back to order and get your drink. You can pick a plate with either a meat and two sides, or order a sandwich. The portions are huge, so don't be afraid to share. Although, I loved having leftovers to take back because they were a tasty memento for lunch the next day.

“Good food - no menu though”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 May 2014 via mobile

Found this place on tripadvisor and decide to give it a go. The chicken and rice was especially delicious. It's not really catered for tourists, as there is no menu and no one really speaks English - which is fine in itself, but we saw people order things that weren't there on offer and it would've been nice to know what they were, as they looked yummy!

If you want authentic, good, Cuban food then come here - it doesn't break the bank either and portions are very large.

“Sundays Breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 May 2014

Las olas is the best place where you can find back your energies after a rough saturday night in miami beach... usually I get to have a couple of empanadas + colada. After that you are so ready to start another day at the beach! And you don't need to wait too much...

“THE REAL DEAL!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 May 2014

tiny spot, no room or time for fancy. This is where the locals go for their cuban coffee, empanadas, sandwiches, etc.
We had the chicken empanada, best empanada i've ever had (and I am latina) the cafe con leche is not to be missed and you must also try their guarapo (sugar cane juice)
Gem of a place!
