We stayed at the Savoy for one week, and we really loved the location. Being right on the beach with ocean view was great. We also enjoyed the quiet surroundings, even though we stayed next to the vibrant Ocean Drive with many good restaurants. In the evening we loved sitting on one of our balconies and enjoyed the view of the sea.

Room Tip: Ocean view suites no. 209 and 309 are very good

Nestled in between two taller buildings, the Savoy is a nice, quiet place to escape the craziness of Sobe. Best part, though, is that if you want the action, its only steps away. Choice of beach or pool areas is excellent. One warm pool, one cooler one. Onsite restaurant is one of the best values in the area. Ate lunch there 3 days. Meals are around $10 each and are FULL meals, excellently prepared. No need to leave the property for lunch. Rooms are a bit tight, and ours didnt have a balcony which would have been nice given the fantastic weather. weather.Pricey, sure but so is the reat

I just came back from a few day stay at the Savoy and it is truly a little paradise. It is a quiet boutique hotel right on the beach with two small pools. The staff is truly wonderful with Jean and Rocky taking wonderful care of everyone poolside while it was a pleasure to see all staff, including the general managers, pitching in to get every job done. This hotel definitely attracts a family oriented crowd between families with young children and elderly couples so if you are looking for the party experience this is not for you.

I recently stayed at the Savoy Hotel, and really enjoyed my time there. The Savoy is a beautiful boutique hotel located right on the beach, and is within walking distance to great shopping and restaurants. The staff at the Savoy is incredibly friendly and helpful. Many of the staff members went above and beyond to make our stay more comfortable. Rocky, Jose and Jean staffed the pool deck and catered to each person on an individual basis. They frequently offered glasses of water and chilled towels which was a refreshing and lovely detail that most hotels overlook. The Savoy offers poolside food service, and the food is fantastic! I tried something new each day for lunch, and I was never disappointed. Don’t miss the fish tacos!

Room Tip: The room layouts vary, so call the hotel when booking to discuss the different options. I recommend a standard queen suite.

We stayed at the Savoy for 4 nights last week. I really loved the location. Being right on the beach was great. The staff was very friendly and professional at the same time. Lunches at the beach/ pool bar were very good and reasonably priced for a hotel. We enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants for dinner. We did not need to rent a car. I found the hotel to be very quiet even though it was full!

The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because there were only plastic utensils and no wine glasses or much of anything in the kitchenette/bar area. The room I was in was also a bit worn. I saw other rooms that seemed decorated much nicer.

Next time I will book earlier to get an ocean front room with a balcony.
