Keep in mind, South Beach is very overpriced to begin with. Other hotels in the near proximity are far cheaper and provide nicer facilities but if you are determined to stay in SoBe, The Hotel is probably the best value.
The room was well maintained as was the rest of the property and very clean. The mattress was comfortable and all amenities were good quality. The staff was absolutely outstanding and helpful in every way.
I have stayed in other hotels in SoBe that had paper thin walls but The Hotel seemed to be better insulated and quieter.
The only negative comment I have is the outrageous price of food. No omelet is worth the asking price of $16! And that doesn't include the mandatory 18% gratuity on all food items. Instead, we walked less than a block to the Chesterfield hotel for breakfast at about half the cost. Other nearby options are even cheaper.
