This was my first time visiting Miami Beach. We enjoyed the variety of cultures along the shopping strip. After we finished shopping, we stopped by to look at the menu and decided to stay for dinner. We asked for a table for 2, the restaurant was not too busy at the time, and the hostess tried to bury us in a corner next to a loud fan.
It was obvious that we had extra baggage after having been shopping, so we requested another table (for 4) that was empty, mind you, there were plenty of choices, and after the manager showed up, he overtook the decision of the hostess who was trying to make us sit along a common passage so we would have had to put our bags in the middle of the way.
The manager sat us on the table for 4 and tried to make us feel comfortable. It was very obvious that the hostess was upset about his decision and she would not stop looking towards us with an angry face and making remarks over our sitting on the bigger table.
The Calamari, for appetizer, was nothing to write home about, however the steak was top of the line...my fork simply went through it like butter. Was it worth the price? Perhaps, then again, it's the first time in the area, so I can't compare.
I think that the wait staff tried to make us feel as comfortable as they could since the place started to fill up while we were there. Would I go again? I would explore other options before returning.
The pork was salty
