“Wonderful stay at the Setai”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

We stayed in the Residence Towers for the second time and found even with a change of ownership that the level of service is incomparable. By the second day you are greeted by name at the entrance, at the pool and at the beach, and everyone makes every effort to insure your comfort. No request is too small for their fabulous concierge. Without a doubt, simply the best of South Beach.

The rooms are exquisite and so is the service. The rain shower is a blessing. A well-trained staff goes to extremes to satisfy, waiting on guests as if they were royalty. Most employees address you by name. And having a choice of three lap pools, each kept at different temperatures, is a real luxury. It was our second visit and we would return for a third. This time we would request a room that faced the courtyard for a quieter evening. Those with windows facing Collins Avenue tend to be a bit noisy and could use soundproofing.

Just returned from a week stay at The Setai in Miami - what a fabulous place this is. The staff are so kind and attentive, the ambience is and calm and relaxed yet every detail is thought through with great attention - I cannot fault it in any way. I felt thoroughly spoilt an every sense and cannot wait to return.

We stayed at The Setai for 2 nights following a cruise.
It was a fantastic end to our holiday in a beautiful hotel, probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in.
The room we had was huge with a separate sitting room and even a huge bath at the end of the bed. Our room (708) was on the 7th floor and had a balcony with views out onto Collins Ave..
Every member of staff we came across were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us.
The next time we are in Miami we will return to this wonderful hotel.

We ve stayed at the riviera beach resort ( one bloc away from the setai ) but we really wanted to hâve à great breakfast Buffet ( 35 dollars plus tax ) but everything was perfect : fresh bread and pastries , great fresh fruit , smoked salmon ... The location is on a outdoor patio with Lounge bed and Music . Service impeccable . If you are hungry and love to indulge yourself just go go go go .

We spent 3 nights at the Setai Miami and we really loved it. Everything was great: rooms are really beautiful, well furnished and comfortable. Style is great: oriental-fancy with a modern flavor. Service is amazing! It was a great experience. Totally recommend it. Worth every dollar.

We went to South Beach January 2014 to get away from the cold weather.

After looking at many hotels online, we decided on staying at the Setai. We rented a 2BR, 2Ba condo instead of two hotel rooms.

The condo was extremely nice, 22 floor, direct ocean and city view, and the location was really good at 20th and Collins -Ocean drive is a few blocks South.

The Setai has an Asian flair and very nicely decorated. The service is excellent, and staff very attentive. It's in walking distance to many restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel.

The Setai is located right on the beach, but has 3 pools also.

We used taxis when we wanted to leave the area (went in Miami once) since we didn't rent a car. I think car parking was $50 daily.

South Beach is quite expensive so bring lots of cash or a good credit card.
