“Five steps to the Beach”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

Great hotel if you prefer to stay away from the well-known anonymous hotel chains. Large rooms, great personnel, close to all you need (beach, shopping, bus stop to Aventura Mall just a few steps, bicycle rental, etc.). If there's a downside, it's the breakfast selection - but if you stay a little longer, just get your staff at the supermarket and use your own kitchen in the room :-)

The place is very convenient, close/centrally located to everything in the area, the rooms were quite nice, and the staff was super friendly (aiming to please and make things right); also, a nice continental breakfast was provided, hitting the spot.
To conclude, I found the Sadigo to be a very nice "home away from home" kind of place; quiet quaint, and a great retreat from the hustle bustle of the area; I'd definitely recommend this place to family and friends!

Room Tip: The interior courtyard rooms are more quiet.

We were given a spacious room (suite) with fully-equipped kitchen,a double bed and a comfortable couch for our 24-year-old son, immaculate bathroom, patio overlooking the beautiful garden where breakfast is served every morning.
Dina said it was a simple continental breakfast but after three other hotels in Florida we have voted for it as the best: plenty of fresh fruit, toast, jam, butter, coffee or tea, fresh orange juice. You can bring your own supplies to the table if you wish. Everything is re-supplied every minute by Dina's mother.
Convenient location at walking distance from Ocean Drive, restaurants and nightlife.
Safe parking (even opposite the hotel) with 25Usd cards.
What can you ask for more? Very good value for money, highly recommendable!

Room Tip: Ask for first floor central bedrooms, with patio

I love the rooms in this hotel. It had a kitchenette, decent size sitting room and a nice master bedroom. The toilet was rather small but given the size of the rest of the room, I loved this place. It was homely and though not too close to South Beach but it was walkable. Must have taken us about 20 mins to walk to South Beach which is not bad. The hotel receptionist gave us a resident parking day pass for just $20 (24 hours) and you can park anywhere in that block with that day pass. It is much better than some of the other parking options which are available for at least $25-30 for just the day and not overnight parking. The breakfast is a big low point for this place. They literally give you just fruits and bread with coffee. Thats it! Other than that I liked this place and recommend it everyone.

Room Tip: The garbage trucks wake you up at 8am everyday which is very unpleasent. Try to take a room on the t...

Found this quiet hotel just a block from the beach, very convenient. The owner was so helpful. Breakfast was light but lovely, the fresh fruit was tasty and well-presented. Cozy, quiet courtyard offered respite from the buzz of South Beach.

Room Tip: First floor suite was comfortable and homey, a little old fashioned.
