We had an easy check-in and checkout. The complimentary evening reception exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be just beer or champagne. But we had a choice of sangria, rum punch, long island ice tea, etc. All the drinks were great with light snacks like crackers, nachos and dip. The cooked to order breakfast, was just that. Great omlet! Will definitely stay here(MIami Airport) and at other Embassy Suites.

I usually like this hotel. But not any more.

When I made reservations, the hotel advertised complimentary WiFi. When I checked in they told me I had to pay. $13 isn't a lot of money . . BUT . . they advertised it as free. The hotel staff did nothing to fix the problem even when I explained (three times) that they advertised it as free when I made the reservation.

Guess Embassy Suites (a Hilton property) only cares about getting money and doesn't care about a good customer experience.

I'll be writing a letter to corporate headquarters.

Room Tip: Bring money. This hotel only wants your money.

We always use the long term parking and airport shuttle because it is so hassle free and easy plus the staff is very pleasant and helpful. This the first time staying overnight and there is a shuttle to nearby restaurants for excellent Cuban food. It was also good to have a nice breakfast before an early flight to the Caribbean. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a small fridge and microwave. We enjoyed a good nights sleep on mattress so good we wrote down the make and model to purchase when we return from our trip. Every employee at this hotel could not do enough to make certain that we enjoyed a perfect stay over and we will return again for more Cuban food nearby.

The experience is a great one and the staff are helpful and warm as well. You can really relax and unwind in this hotel's atmosphere. The complimentary breakfast and evening happy hour are a pleasure to look forward to as well.

Recent one night stay pre cruise with a family of 6. Hotel shuttle runs every 30 mins so our wait on arrival was short. With traffic about a 5 minute trip top hotel. As others have said the hotel is not near much to do within walking distance. This was the only reason it received a 4 out of 5 rating. First impression of hotel is what I expected in Miami with it's tropical appearance. Large open area for check-in (no issues) Has a large open atrium with small pools with fish and tables for the breakfast. Breakfast buffet offered quite a variety to choose from. I thought the food was good for a buffet Small fitness room you must walk thru to get to the large outside pool and hot tub area. This was very nice. Didn't take advantage of the happy hour. The room itself was a two room suite. Nothing special but nothing bad. Met the basic requirements of clean, comfortable and safe. Six people and one bathroom was a challenge. Used shuttle to get back to airport to use metro rail and metro mover to Bayside. Was cheaper than a cab and took about 30-40 mins to get there. We asked about a cab to the cruise port and was told they had issues with cabs which made no sense but they offered a shuttle for $10 per person we took advantage of. This ran at 10:30 and 11:30. Used a mini bus/ extended van that holds maybe 30 people. Luggage is carried in an attached trailer. The shuttle stops at multiple piers. We were on the Getaway which was the first stop. Two other Carnival Ships passengers were on the shuttle. About a 15 min trip from hotel. All in all we were satisfied with the stay. If you need one night pre cruise or flying this is perfect but not for a home base to explore. During the time of our sailing hotel rooms in Brickell and downtown were much more expensive for our size party. We weighed the cost and made this choice on Embassy Suites. Would stay here again under same circumstances.
