This little gem of a restaurant was a wonderful experience. Amazing food, fabulous service, beautifully decorated and totally romantic. What more could you ask for?

“Magical Evening”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

Seven of us, camping at Payne's Prairie, made a reservation & visited Antonio's one evening during our stay. The staff was excellent, the menu choices & quality were way above average, and the prices were in line with what you received. The service was fantastic. Three of us shared a bottle of Chianti Classico, which was smooth and pleasant. I'd have loved to see a Barbera or Montepulciano as an additional choice, but hey, this place is in an old house in the middle of nowhere, which adds to it's charm, and one's satisfaction level in finding it and the quality they offer. I had the fettuccine pescatori. It was good, although I didn't see any calamari in it. Seasonal unavailability, perhaps, which I can respect. When Antonio came to our table, we spontaneously all applauded loudly. He had even offered us a gratis after dinner liquor, a homemade limoncello (only orange). And my allergy was accommodated in the most pleasant and helpful manner possible. While not the best restaurant meal ever (considering France & Italy & upper end restos in big US cities), our visit was absolute magic!

“World class cuisine”
Reviewed 24 March 2014

A small house in the middle of nowhere that is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever enjoyed. The owner is from Italy and makes his own mozzarella cheese, dipping oil, sauces, dressings, Italian Cheesecake and Tiramisu. His mozzarella and Burrata Cheese is a must!

“Solid Italian fare in a lovely rural setting”
Reviewed 3 March 2014

A surprising find, not far from Micanopy and Cross Creek. Very good Italian food with a small but decent wine list. Fine dining in the middle of nowhere.

“Five Star all the way!!!! Best authentic Italain food you will think you are in Heaven!”
Reviewed 16 December 2013

Don't pass this little gem up!! Truly the best authentic Italian food I have ever had in years. Growing up in the NY/NJ/Phila area surrounded by some of the best Italian friends & their restaurants, this little gem in McIntosh FL is a must stop to experience. You will hem & haw on every bite of food no matter what you order. The place has changed hands a few times but I am sure the new owner & chef will not be going any where. We were hesitant to try it again however I heard the original chef bought the place and the food was always excellent when Antonio was there with the past owner. We surely were not disappointed in any way! The service is excellent, food and ambiance it perfect for any occasion! Antonio takes the time to come out to meet his customers and always makes you feel special. The service is excellent! I posted pictures of our food. Unfortunately we are moving out of the area but we are trying to go every week till we leave and we plan to visit his restaurant every time we are in in the area besides we will do everything we can to pass the word on how excellent his restaurant is!! It is 10 star (if there was such a rating) to us!! Thank you Antonio! Your cooking is the best!!!
