Had a trip to Zia for the sunset and came here for food. Was initially worried we wouldn't get a seat as a lot of tables were reserved but this wasn't a problem. Food was lovely, nice atmosphere and views of the sunset.

Having read the Scotsmans Terrible review, I can only say he or him and his wife MUST have been somewhere other than Olympia ... Since finding this Greek Fare Taverna in 1992 we have made approaching one hundred visits since..this year alone we made two visits in June and intend two this September.
Food is typical Greek, not MacDs or other Rubish .. Patron is a master of customer satisfaction, staff have changed over the years but are always attentive.
Food we cannot fault .. But reiterate it is typical Greek .. Which is why we visit KOS as often as we do.
We have suggested to the patron that he adds Haggis on his menu to appease any future tourist from north of our Border....
I have made this review suomewhat critical of this ONE 'terrible' experience but we all get out our beds the wrong side on some occasions.

As stated in the title the service we received from the owner and a young man was excellent! As my girlfriend in vegetarian and very fussy it was hard to find something to eat for her, however the owner was happy to make something else/put things together for us which was very nice of him. The view was nice but would've been better at the Olympia 2 where there are no trees to obstruct the view, but that place is very popular so get in quick! Food was okay, tomato and chicken soups were delicious, steak was nice but could've been better quality meat and asked for medium but came more well done than anticipated. Vegetarian dish was nice but a couple of things were quite vinegary or overseasoned. Would return mainly for view and service, not necessarily the food unfortunately.

lovelly sunset view at the top of the mountain. chose a greek salad but was just a soggy dish of tomatoes and onions with two slivers of cheese on top and four olives for decoration. nice service though, waiter does a few tricks at the table with a ten euro note.
