Very nice greek restaurant up in the mountain. Well worth a beautiful drive on a zig-zag steep road up the hill. Food was tasty and service was very good. (British restaurants have much to learn from the service here).

There is a beautiful view from Zia and is nice to visit during sunset.

This lovely taverna is in Zia, a nice village on the mountain Dikaios; Nice greek food
and a greek atmoshere; You have a great view over Kos island and the mountain excursion is very nice.

I kinda liked this place because it's literally a bit above the main road in Zia so you can watch the world go by without being right in it. Many of the other choices are either very much in the middle of things or very much out of the way. The blue parrot was an interesting member of the team! The staff were friendly but impersonal (in that way waiters have of inviting you in warmly, then ignoring you a bit) and the food was disappointing for veggies (hidden meat in unexpected places!) but the prices were fair enough for a touristy place and the quality was decent too. I'd say it's worth trying if you're visiting Zia more than once and would like the variety of trying several places. The inside space here looks like it'll be cosy in the winter.

His last visit to the island of Kos, we traveled to ZIA located up the hill, where village artisans specially with Restaurant Olympia, we dined in some families, the food was excellent and very tasty freshly made on site, landlords kind and indulgent very, Greek music instead of causing the proprietor issue and break plates clay completion Tavern experience.
The restaurant is highly recommended!
