Our two night stay at Wormleighton Hall was for business, although we were given the impression that it would be more suited to weekend getaways or romantic breaks. However our host was accommodating and friendly given she had to put up with us coming and going at all hours of the day and night. The converted stables have a charming luxury finish whilst the house and surrounding countryside is stunning. Breakfast, served in the dining room, was also very good and cooked to order. I would thoroughly recommend this B&B as an excellent countryside retreat.

We stayed at this pleasant b&b with 2 other couples for a wedding at crock well farm.

The b&b is in a wonderful setting with cattle roaming around the grounds and stunning views over the countryside. We were amazed by how quiet it was when we arrived, no light or noise pollution providing a great nights sleep and stunning star ridden skys.

The owner of the b&b was very relaxed and made us feel comfortable at all times. Her children were equally pleasant.

Our room was in a converted stable, which was very modern and had all the required facilities we needed for our stay. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom clean and modern. Furniture slightly dated although maybe just wasn't to our taste.

Breakfast in the morning was very good, full English plus cereals, fruit and fresh juices. All cooked and presented well.

Would reccomend staying here to visit to other customers. Lovely b&b at a competitive rate!

Be careful when booking a taxi for this b&b and because of the remote location, firms charge very high prices!!

we were attending a friends wedding in Southam and "blind booked" this place to stay over - what a find, so peaceful and friendly - biggest disappointment was not spending enough time there to fully enjoy & appreciate the place :(
oh well there's bound to be a next time :)

What a super place - a warm welcome from Nicola, a very very comfortable room in the old stables with one of the best showers we have used in ages. A stupendous breakfast - "real" sausages, eggs from her own hens, and to crown it all a new foal born in the night to welcome us! AND we managed to leave something behind which was promptly posted to us.
All together a great stay. And one to be repeated!

I stayed at Wormleighton Hall in April 2012. I received a charming and easy welcome from Nicola, who treated me as a friend, made me a cup of tea, let me read her newspaper and sample her homemade flapjacks. She allowed me a choice of room, so I opted for Room 1 with its panoramic views of the countryside. I really like this location and the whole farmhouse/B&B concept, but the business needs to address a few flaws that would otherwise make it superb:

Room 1 was a bit tired, as I suspect other rooms in the house to be. The woodwork/sash windows and radiator need some repair/painting and the decoration/soft furnishings need renewal. There was no hot water readily available, since the newly repaired boiler had "tripped" and when I asked for an ironing board to press a suit, I was presented with an iron that needed de-scaling and a board whose cover had been subjected to numerous burns and dirt. It was disgusting. The room provided tea/coffee, but there were no spoons and the kettle should have been emptied.

The real issue that needs to be addressed is whether Sam and Nicola are focused on this business or their farm? Breakfast was very nice, with homemade jam and farm fresh eggs served by the breakfast lady who no doubt acts as a general factotum.

The whole experience was charming, but just needs that extra attention to detail to place Wormleighton Hall at the top end of B&B's.

Our second visit to Wormleighton Hall. Located on the edge of a tiny medieval village, within easy driving distance of Stratford, Warwick and the Cotswolds. Beautifully furnished accomodation, and great views over the peaceful Warwickshire countryside. Nicola knows all the best restaurants in the area, and produces delicious breakfasts.

We booked a two night stay at Wormleighton Hall so we could have a 'pre christmas' christmas with our daughter, who lives and works in the village near the Hall. Sadly the snowy weather put paid to most of our plans for the two days, but staying at the hall more than made up for the bad weather. On arrival we were met by Nicola's mum in law who made sure we had the warmest of welcomes with a cup of tea and some home made flap jack( forget the diet i thought, it was too good to miss!!). We were shown to our room in the courtyard which was clean, warm with a very comfortable bed, and lots of space for storing clothes etc. The bathroom was clean and modern with a very powerful shower, heated towel rail and ample supplies of shower gel, shampoo etc. We had booked to bring our two dogs with us and they were kennelled in a huge stable which was full of straw, so they were very warm and cosy as well.

The Hall is set in farmland and the views of the surrounding countryside are stunning and we sat on the saturday morning watching the snow coming in from the west.. Given the time of year and the weather we decided to pass on the outdoor swimming pool, but would imagine in summer it would be lovely to have a nice cooling dip.

Nicola cooked us the most wonderful breakfast complete with free range eggs from their own chickens and sausages that even my husband. a confirmed sausage hater ate and declared were..divine... praise indeed.

Nicola could not have been more welcoming, and we really enjoyed our two day stay and will certainly be back in future for some more of the same... minus the snow!!!

Thank you again, see you soon.
