My wife and I stayed at the Adora Inn this past weekend, and had a terrific time. We've stayed in dozens of B&Bs and rank the Adora amongst the very best. Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. The breakfasts were delightful, and we so enjoyed meeting the owners John and Arthur. Looking forward to our next stay at the Adora.

Room Tip: The "Vanilla" room shares the top floor with only one other room, "Treehouse". S...

My husband and I decided to visit Mt. Dora, a quiet and charming little town not too far from home (Miami).

We searched for B&B online and we really liked the location of the Adora Inn which is walking distance to all the shops and restuarants that Mt. Dora has to offer.

John and Arthur welcomed us to their beautiful home. It felt warm and inviting from the moment we drove in.

We stayed in the Periwinkle room.. The colors were so soothing.. It felt that we were in a retreat the whole time.. What about the breakfast? Absolutely delicious.

We look forward to our next visit to Mt. Dora in our home away from home, The Adora Inn.

My wife and I wanted to get away for a few days and went to Mt. Dora and stayed at the Adora Inn. This is not a "grandma" B&B with knickknacks all around - it was more minimalistic which we liked, but the room was very comfortable and the food was excellent. The Inn is just two blocks away from downtown where you can find all sorts of places to eat, drink or shop. John and Arthur were wonderful hosts. We had a cheese plate that was very tasty and they cooked us a gourmet meal one night that was one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We sat on the large enclosed front porch and listened to jazz and it was just wonderful. We will be going back soon.

My husband and I found this B&B on line with a google search, deciding last minute on a quick get away After a 4 hour Harley ride, we were warmly welcomed at the door, shown a lovely immaculate room. We spent the evening in town, enjoying all Mt Dora has to offer. The next morning, the smell of coffee woke us up, going downstairs we were served a gourmet breakfast in the dining room, sitting family style with other travelers. The food was soo good, fresh fruit, juices, a type of potatoe frittata. All was yummy. We were also pleasantly surprised that the owners sat with us and broke the ice making conversation flow. We will definately be back!

My sister and I stumbled upon the Adora Inn on an impromptu visit to Mt. Dora. Lucky for us the Inn Keepers, John and Arthur, were gracious, accommodating and moved quickly to orient us to the towns "must do". We slept like babies in pristine bedding, soaked in the tub with hot water on demand, listened to birds chirping and enjoyed a gourmet breakfast for 8 in the morning. We'd return a hundred times over and hope to soon.

We stayed at Adora for three nights. The whole experience was great. The inn keepers are great, made helpful recommendations, the inn is stylish and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and we had an amazing time in Mount Dora. We will definitely go again and definitely stay at the Adora Inn.

Room Tip: No pool or fitness. Couldn't change score. All rooms are nice.
