This park is more than just a park! It's one of the pretty public beaches, With parking lot included, and picnic areas and shade all in one. Stay the day, they have showers, concession area and clean bath areas too.
When I moved to Naples, this way my beach to find a general spiritual meeting place on Sunday morning right in the open park. What a smile on my face!

Great spot for smaller kids. Shallow and no large waves. They're are some shells and sand dollars you can find. There is a bathroom, but not really a changing room. They have a snack bar, I am unsure of the operation hours throughout the year. Parking is metered, and the meter only takes coins or a debit card.

I will never forget this place, and would love to retire here (25 years before i can start thinking about that though) Beautiful sand, a good amount of shells for the kids. Even though it is in Naples, once you get onto the beach, if you head south down the beach, it looks really remote and you dont see the big buildings from the city. Makes you feel like you are on an island somewhere. The park, just off the beach is beautiful. Has lots of benches, and a pavilion with tables and a roof where people can come sit, socalize, eat if they want to, and watch the amazing sunset. Parking can be limited, but if you have to walk a little, it is worth it. This is my favorite beach of the 20 or so that i have been to so far! We will be back.

You gotta love Lowdermilk Beach! Easy to get to and plenty of parking (free to Collier County residents). The pavilion offers a shady place to sit and have your lunch if you don't bring one and the rest room facilities are large and clean. I live just about 5 miles away and it is also my favorite place to go just to watch the sunset.

This beach was very nice and clean! The metered parking was easy to find and easy to pay for. You can use a credit card to pay for parking ($1.50/hour). They have chair and umbrella rentals too ($30 for 2 chairs and an umbrella). It's cheaper to bring your own chairs, but if you don't want the hassle of carrying all that, the rentals are an easy option. There is concessions to buy food and drinks too. Best of all are the very clean public restrooms and showers. Of course we've been to prettier beaches but for a public beach this was a great find in Naples!
