We found the NewsStand Café through Tripadvisor ... not knowing the area, when looking for a place to meet with friends we had not seen in 20 years. The staff set up an outside table for the 6 of us, which was delightful. The menu is truly European, and quite varied ...the lunch schnitzel was delightful, and the sole, light as a feather. The chef accommodated my need to avoid eggs in preparation of the sole, which usually has an egg batter, and made it lightly sautéed. A very, very nice experience.

My husband and I eat out a lot and Naples is in short supply of good breakfast places. We don't enjoy fast food chains.

The News-Stand had the best breakfast we've had since moving here four 4 years ago!
I ordered a short stack of buttermilk berry pancakes. They were delicious and crisp around the edges. My husband had a ham and provolone cheese omelet. It was cooked through with no runny parts and simply divine.

We're going to go back and try some of the Eastern European dinners we saw on the menu.

There's even outdoor seating and the place was very clean.

This small family owned restaurant is located next to the North Naples Community Hospital. The dishes are all prepared fresh with quality ingredients. The menu is varied with focus on European fare. Items such as Veal Schnitzel, Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Paprikash and stuffed green peppers to name a few, are quite good. Julius, the owner and Chef, prepares all the items on the menu with care, you can add the Front Page salad to your dinner for just a few dollars. Try it!
