“Sushi One is for us the new "Naples sushi heaven "”
Reviewed 16 November 2013

During Oct./Nov. 2013 we went about 8-10 times in our 3 week vacationin Naples to try out if this sushi restaurant could become our new sushi heaven in Naples and they passed with flying colours! Found out after 3 visits that both the sushi masters we talked to were ex- club sushi chef's who started on their own in 2009 ! They make delicious "sashimi salad "(15$) which can easily be shared with 2 as a starter(I had one on my own as main course one evening :)) )
The blue crab sashimi turned out to be the biggest portion - size of a soft ball !!!- of delicious crab I ever had and this for about 7 $ , same for the huge portion of delicious spicy tuna sashimi !
We tried several rolls from their menu and all were good but we prefer the skinny rolls version to avoid too much rice ; btw their sushi rice is also perfectly cooked and that is an art by itself !
Prices are veary reasonable and for us the perfect way to see how good and value for money a place is in Naples , is to look and listen for local patrons ... sushi one is packed with locals and soo much so that on a few evenngs the place was full with not one chair left open which can explain the slower service but if you come in and sit on any of the four seats at the end of the sushi counter ,on the right side when you walk in and with the wooden sampan in front of you , sit , look and order all what you want to eat , max. waiting time will be 10 minutes once you get the order going . If you order roll by roll , order by order you risk to wait in line with everyone elses order plus the take out which can get busy too . At peak times there were 3 sushi chefs going full force and they just could keep up so keep this in mind if you go on the busy times in the weekend !

“Best sushi we ever had!”
Reviewed 6 September 2013

My husband and I travelled to Naples on business from NY and went to dinner at Sushi One. The service was wonderful but best of all was the food! We have eaten sushi at many different places in New York ( and needless to say, New York has many wonderful places to eat), but this place was hand down the best sushi we have ever had! Wish they were in New York, so we can eat there more often. Can't wait to get back to Naples again. Would highly recommend it!

“Excelent Sushis”
Reviewed 9 August 2013

We had Wakame salame (standard), but the Dragon Roll was really good. We sat at the bar withthe kids and they loved to see the guys making the food. They were also very friendly and fun.

“Not loyal to locals-- very disappointed.”
Reviewed 5 August 2013 via mobile

Naples residents are the bread and butter when the snowbirds are not in town. Those in town dollars help this group sustain through very tough months. To take these folks for granted is naive and will end up with this group going out of business.
Sorry guys. A lot of people have been very good to you through thick and thin times.
You turned your back on these people. Shame on you.

“Our Best Sushi in Naples”
Reviewed 16 June 2013

When we asked our waitress at a great seafood place in Naples where the best sushi was, she referred us to
Sushi One. She was not wrong.

We originally went here for lunch and had a great meal. The lunch portions were generous and a great deal. The service was accommodating and prompt. It was so good, we were there for dinner the next night. The detail they put into preparing the food is reflected in the top quality product they put out.
