During Oct./Nov. 2013 we went about 8-10 times in our 3 week vacationin Naples to try out if this sushi restaurant could become our new sushi heaven in Naples and they passed with flying colours! Found out after 3 visits that both the sushi masters we talked to were ex- club sushi chef's who started on their own in 2009 ! They make delicious "sashimi salad "(15$) which can easily be shared with 2 as a starter(I had one on my own as main course one evening :)) )
The blue crab sashimi turned out to be the biggest portion - size of a soft ball !!!- of delicious crab I ever had and this for about 7 $ , same for the huge portion of delicious spicy tuna sashimi !
We tried several rolls from their menu and all were good but we prefer the skinny rolls version to avoid too much rice ; btw their sushi rice is also perfectly cooked and that is an art by itself !
Prices are veary reasonable and for us the perfect way to see how good and value for money a place is in Naples , is to look and listen for local patrons ... sushi one is packed with locals and soo much so that on a few evenngs the place was full with not one chair left open which can explain the slower service but if you come in and sit on any of the four seats at the end of the sushi counter ,on the right side when you walk in and with the wooden sampan in front of you , sit , look and order all what you want to eat , max. waiting time will be 10 minutes once you get the order going . If you order roll by roll , order by order you risk to wait in line with everyone elses order plus the take out which can get busy too . At peak times there were 3 sushi chefs going full force and they just could keep up so keep this in mind if you go on the busy times in the weekend !
