“Good Time at Sushi One”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 4 March 2014

I have been dining in some of Naples, Florida;'s best-kept secrets for many years now, and I must say SUSHI ONE is quite an experience. This so-called food revolution of Japanese restaurants has seen many of Collier's best new restaurants sprouting like mushrooms in this lush area. And for those of you searching for a culinary experience like no other, look no further than SUSHI ONE.

The restaurant is located in a rather unassuming Plaza that’s quite easy to miss. However, it is in the corner of Pine Ridge & Goodlette Road. It is nestled amid a plaza that has showrooms and other restaurants and it entices the city’s trendy district. Old Naples Natives and New Visitors absolutely love it. SUSHI ONE has the best of Chefs. Native Japanese chefs, Norio and Seto, founded Sushi One in the summer of 2009. Norio and Seto have worked in restaurants from New York to Florida with 35 years of cumulative restaurant experience in the U.S. They met right here in Naples while working as chefs at a local restaurant.

I usually let the Chefs pick my dish which all are quite exquisite. Everything on the menu is superb and the staff.....WOW!!! All smiles and just a warm feeling of eating in your own homes.

Though I would love to be selfish and keep SUSHI ONE all to myself, the work of Chefs Norio and Seto and all the STAFF is too good to stay hidden for long. There’s no doubt a table SHUSHI ONE at will quickly become the hottest reservation in town.

“Love the Sashami Salad”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 February 2014

I've been to Sushi One about 3 times and my friend and I always order the Sashami Salad. It is really large so we share that and usually get something to go along with it, like a roll. It is extremely good!

“Sushi One is for us the new "Naples sushi heaven "”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2013

During Oct./Nov. 2013 we went about 8-10 times in our 3 week vacationin Naples to try out if this sushi restaurant could become our new sushi heaven in Naples and they passed with flying colours! Found out after 3 visits that both the sushi masters we talked to were ex- club sushi chef's who started on their own in 2009 ! They make delicious "sashimi salad "(15$) which can easily be shared with 2 as a starter(I had one on my own as main course one evening :)) )
The blue crab sashimi turned out to be the biggest portion - size of a soft ball !!!- of delicious crab I ever had and this for about 7 $ , same for the huge portion of delicious spicy tuna sashimi !
We tried several rolls from their menu and all were good but we prefer the skinny rolls version to avoid too much rice ; btw their sushi rice is also perfectly cooked and that is an art by itself !
Prices are veary reasonable and for us the perfect way to see how good and value for money a place is in Naples , is to look and listen for local patrons ... sushi one is packed with locals and soo much so that on a few evenngs the place was full with not one chair left open which can explain the slower service but if you come in and sit on any of the four seats at the end of the sushi counter ,on the right side when you walk in and with the wooden sampan in front of you , sit , look and order all what you want to eat , max. waiting time will be 10 minutes once you get the order going . If you order roll by roll , order by order you risk to wait in line with everyone elses order plus the take out which can get busy too . At peak times there were 3 sushi chefs going full force and they just could keep up so keep this in mind if you go on the busy times in the weekend !

“Best sushi we ever had!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 September 2013

My husband and I travelled to Naples on business from NY and went to dinner at Sushi One. The service was wonderful but best of all was the food! We have eaten sushi at many different places in New York ( and needless to say, New York has many wonderful places to eat), but this place was hand down the best sushi we have ever had! Wish they were in New York, so we can eat there more often. Can't wait to get back to Naples again. Would highly recommend it!

“Excelent Sushis”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2013

We had Wakame salame (standard), but the Dragon Roll was really good. We sat at the bar withthe kids and they loved to see the guys making the food. They were also very friendly and fun.
