“Absolutely wonderful”
Reviewed 14 September 2009

Whilst on a visit to Orlando we visited friends who were staying at the Cove Inn last year. We had planned to stay 1 or 2 nights, but loved it so much we stayed for 3.
This year I managed to get mega cheap flights to Miami, so we stayed the first night in Miami the foolwing morning we drove down to Naples and stayed for a week.
It was just as we remembered it.
They even gave us the same room that we stayed in last year.
Perfect location, extremely friendly staff and a 15 minutes stroll to the sea to watch the dolphins. The hotel isn't fancy, but everything we needed for our stay was provided.
We had a Bayside room which overlooked the bay and had excellent views and a private balcony.
We chose a Hotel room as we didn't need the extra space and cooking facilities of an Efficiency room.
There is a library with a wide range of literature and free wi-fi for residents. There is also a computer terminal and printer for internet access for that that haven't brought their own laptops.
There are quite a few great places to eat nearby, so we were never stuck for dinner choices.
We are planning to go back next year if funds allow for a longer period (2/3 weeks).

When I rang the hotel earlier this year, they told us to about a site called Roomsaver.com, where we could get a further discount on the advertised prices ($75 instead of $94) if we just walked in and booked a room on arrival, without a reservation.
I called the hotel 2 days before we departed and they still had availabilty, so we printed off the voucher and saved ourselves money.

Now that's what I call great customer service.
We'll definitely be going back.

We'd stayed at the Cove Inn before and wanted to go back due to the high standards of accomodation, the location / views and the fact it was so welcoming...we were NOT disappointed!! After our first night at the Cove Inn this year, we ended up going back again during our trip for 2 nights and both times were given the best rooms for a view...!The location is 10 minute walk from the beach & pier and the shops / restaurants are even closer! We also used the 2 restaurants on site this time - 'Cove restaurant, Bout Inn' and both were excellent with views across the harbour... The Cove Inn? Absolutely recommended and great value for money!!

The Cove Inn is a great place to stay in Naples. All of the reviews on here are all true and if you are like me who uses Trip Advisor as you travel bible, you will not be disappointed. We stayed on the ground floor facing the marina so the view was nice, but would have been better if we had stayed on a higher floor. However this did not spoil our time here. We only stayed for 4 nights, but wished we had stayed for longer. The location is in a peaceful spot and roughly 10 min walk to the 5th avenue street, were people just mill about drinking wine in plastic wine glasses and soak up the atmosphere. We did not eat here, but the restaurants looked lovely! Ooh and you have got to have one of the ice creams from the ice cream parlour. Divine!!

If you decide to stay here you will not be disappointed,as its fantatsic value for money, great rooms and in a lovely location.

We stayed a week at the Cove Inn and found it to be a fantastic location. We had a bayside condo (a must) with excellent views over the marina. The room had everything you would want or need, although as the apartments are individually owned condos, it might not be decorated to your taste! Having the pool was a great bonus and the Chickee bar was great fun, staff and customers very friendly, and we found that it is owned by a fellow Scot!

In comparison to the cost of some of the other prime locations in Naples this is superb value. It is within walking to both 3rd St and 5th Ave where the best resturants etc are to be found. The beach could be walked and is only 5 min drive.

All in all a great place to stay and we def return.

I needed to fly down to Naples, Florida last minute ...and discovered this lovely inn in old Naples on the bay. The front staff (Frederic and Jeff) were so welcoming and helpful. I was delightfully pleased with so much about my stay. The rooms are very comfortable and clean overlooking the bay with a lovely outdoor pool. There are several fabulous restaurants nearby and the inn has it 's own outdoor bar. I would highly recommend this inn for couples, families with children and even singles. One of the best hotels I have stayed in down there (and I have been to the Ritz...La Playa...but they don't compare )

We stopped off here en route from Key West to St Petes for an overnighter having found details in a voucher book. We had three rooms all in all and unfortunately we ended up with the worst one. Our room overlooked the hotel pool bar so despite paying for a view of the bay we got a view of the guests getting drunk and also got to listen to them until closing time. Into the bargain the room wasn't very pleasant, there was no crockery or cutlery in the kitchen area and the toilet broke an hour into the stay.
The other two rooms on the other hand had a lovely view of the bay and were nicely decorated with kitchen accessories. When we described our room to the others they couldn't believe we were in the same hotel!
The staff we met were lovely and really helpful. The toilet was fixed very quickly. The lobby area was very nice with a lovely view of the bay and free wi fi access.
All in all fine for an overnighter but if I had had to stay in the room we got any longer I would have gone to a different hotel. If I went back there, having seen the other two rooms, I would ask for a change in rooms instead. Actually appears to be a very nice little hotel.
