“Great resource for a small town”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 April 2014

Artis has three main parts: the concert hall, Daiels pavilion, and the art gallery. The concert hall, though relatively new, has a very muddied sound when seeing musicals - have seen several and have decided not to do again. The Daniels, however, has great sound and is a smaller, more intimate stage - love it! Only wish they had more varied offerings (too many cabaret/broadway singers), but have been able to find several shows each season. The art gallery is wonderful for a small museum. Excellent traveling shows and the Mouse House is worth the visit alone. Daniels and art gallery would get 5 stars, concert hall brought rating down.

“The Phil - Still good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 April 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Went to the Philharmonic classic concert. At 7 PM there is a preconcert talk. Usually in an interview setting. Most interesting to hear conductors or soloists or orchestra members for 1/2 hour. Then we grab a quick, preordered soup and sandwich at the outdoor-indoor restaurant (very good food and inexpensive). For the highlight we go into the concert hall for one of the best full orchestras anywhere. No matter what they play or who conducts they are marvelous. All seats are good and the atmosphere, while not as formal as decades ago, is still a bit old timey and lovely.

“Concert with an artistic bonus”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 April 2014

Attended a concert starring Ramsey Lewis and John Pizzarelli in this wonderful venue. There are small galleries surrounding the auditorium and several lovely sculptures to admire during the intermission. Good lighting and acoustics made this a memorable evening.

“Excellent Venue for a Concert”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 31 March 2014 via mobile

My wife and I were here for a Moody Blues concert. There was ample free parking on this evening. This is a beautiful facility. The acoustics and lighting is first class. The audience was made up of fans in their 60's. Typical for this band. Everyone was well behaved that is until the band started playing their classics. Then it was hand clapping and dancing in the aisles reminiscing our youth. I am looking forward to Broadway production here.
Leaving the event was relatively easy. Ten minutes and you're out on to route 41.

“Beautiful venue”

In addition to the concert/play or whatever you are seeing at "The Phil" the small galleries always have interesting exhibits.
