“relaxing hotel, laid back town”
Reviewed 20 June 2012

We usually stay on the east coast of Florida but have enjoyed the Clearwater area in the past. Our expectations for Naples and the hotel were fully met. My husband and I found the staff at Bellasera very professional and accomodating. We stayed five nights and would have liked to stay longer. We were upgraded to a two bedroom suite and found everything we needed there, down to detergent every day for the washer. We were on a quest to be frugal this time around and cooked almost every meal in the kitchen in our room. It was fully stocked, though I didn't like the coffee maker and the coffee it produced at all.
Patty and Larry at the front desk were helpful on the phone before our arrival and even more so once checked in. We had a lot of luggage and made the good choice of having Larry help us to our room. He is a fount of practical information on the area, the best beach, and where to park.
We did have a small problem with the room because there was a very annoying, constant drone type noise that kept me awake at night and eventually was too much to bear in the daytime, though we weren't in the room that often. I finally called the front desk early in the morning after our third night. They talked to maintenance and called me back saying that there was a known problem with an exhaust fan in the kitchen that would not turn off as it should have. They said they didn't realize the noise penetrated into our room. We were offered a different room and though really a pain to pack up, move all of our luggage and considerable food supply, the new room was sweet relief.
It was very hot while were there so the pool did not appeal. We chose the beach instead (rented chairs and umbrella from hotel) and enjoyed a very nice breeze.
We visited the farmers' market in the Tommy Bahama parking lot and stocked up on fresh vegetables, and then went to their store for Capt Kirk's Sone Crabs at 629 8th Street. I highly recommend this place if you love fresh fish and are cooking in. The advice and the fish were right on. I miss it so much back here in PA.
Considering the size of the room, cleanliness, location, free parking and wifi, helpful staff, it was a very good value and we look forward to staying at Bellasera again.

Room Tip: Don't be shy asking for a room upgrade if occupancy is low.

We love staying here and every thing about Naples.
Stayed here for three nights wished we could have stayed longer.
It,s a home from home with everything that you need.
Try the sunset cruise, then go the the riverwalk restaraunt, both at Tin City.
The hotel free shuttle bus provides excellent free transport, just call the hotel reception.
The only slight downside was the bar closed some nights at 9.45pm and the music at the pool got on my nerves; although to be fair the music was switched off for the day when I mentioned it. Neither of these 2 details would stop me from recomending the Bellasera. We look forward to staying here again

Room Tip: We had room 101, nice and sunny on a morning for when you have breakfast on your patio/lanai. The ro...

Chose this place based on the reviews here on Tripadvisor. Overall a nice hotel for the price and location. We visited June 7th through 11th. Stayed in a poolview 1 bedroom Suite. Room was nice a little smaller than i had expected (based on the reviews) but still very nice. Had a problem one of the nights with maid forgetting to give us towels and coffee, but we called and there was towels immediately brought up within minutes. Pool was perfect great for families, pool is not huge but i wouldnt call it small either. Cabana's are great especially when the sun is at it's hottest. We never had any issues finding a chair or a cabana. Hotel is walking distance to both Tin City and 5th Avenue. although we rented a car, you really did not need too. I would say location is it's best quality overall. Shuttle service says it will bring you to the beach, i found with a car it was so much easier, to go and leave whenever you wanted. Beaches were amazing and hotel didnt mind if you took beach towels which was great. The beaches you could allmost say they were private, very beautiful white sand. never crowded. You certainly cannot walk to them from hotel. Hotel food just ok. Happy hour for drinks and appetizers are worth it. No wow factor on the food though. Bar staff very friendly. Rooms were quiet also, you never heard TV noise or other people talking etc. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was my favorite very large, clean and pretty. Bottom line, when we come back, we will highly consider staying here again, unless we can find something else on the beach at a good rate. I would and have recommended this hotel to others already.

Room Tip: choose a larger room than the pool view suite. And opt for 3rd floor. Pool view suites are the...

We had spent a week in Orlando, and were looking forward to a nice week by the sea. We were NEVER expecting something as good as this!!

It was a blazing hot day, and as soon as we stepped foot inside, we were met by calm music and cool air in a beautiful, spacious lobby with sofas to relax on. The staff were helpful, as I am disabled and managed to move us into a accesable room.

The suite we stayed in was fantastic, with all the amenities including a HUGE American Fridge and lovely rooms with a spacious wardrobe, èn suite bathroom and a TV. My 11 year-old son had a great timeand hadna huge room to himself! The rooms also had a patio leading out to a garden/courtyard area which leads to the hot tub and swimming pool.

The hotel also has a bar and restaurant called the Zizi, which does lovely food and drinks!

Overall it was a great stay, we would definitely come back again!! :)

Bellasera was perfect for our weekend in every way. We had a studio with a large jacuzzi tub and a balcony overlooking the pool. The desk staff was great for local advice. Perhaps one of the best services was the free shuttle! We used it to go to 5th for dinner one night. We made a call while eating dessert, and the van was right there to pick us up, for free!
Beautiful room, great location. We will stay here again when we visit Naples :)

Room Tip: Studio is perfect size for 2. We had the end of the hallway. No noise at all. Perfect!

Two couples stayed at the resort for a 4-day vacation. First of all they upgraded us to 2-bedroom apartments each because we requested to be near each other and those were the closest units available. We were on the first floor, steps from the lobby, restaurant and pool areas. They have fully (and I mean fully, with blenders, mixers, hot water makers, etc) stocked kitchens and everything was spotless, including the pots and pans. They supplied kitchen towels, dishwasher detergent and even dishwashing soap and sponge. It was wonderful to run the dishwasher and when you came back to the room, everything was cleaned up and put away. I wish I had that at home! It was off-season so it was very quiet and the beds were wonderful. Staff was exceptionally accomodating and friendly. A positively wonderful place to relax and only about 3 blocks from the infamous 5th Avenue with all the shops and restaurants. We did not go to the beach but did stop by and it is immaculate as well. All in all, this was a wonderful time and we enjoyed every minute of our visit. Hope to be back again!

We visited Naples last year and decided to return, this time with friends. We rented a 3 BR this year and it was fantastic. The extra room for 2 couples was wonderful. The staff was very accomodating and everyone was as happy and helpful as they were the year before. One of our favorite perks is the shuttle service, which will take you to the beach or to dinner. Larry, Jose and everyone will greet you with a smile and seem happy to deliver you to your destination. We will definitely return to Naples again and stay at Bellersera. We actually went and toured two other resort hotels to look at the rooms to make sure we did not want to try something different. One had a "snooty attitude and one was just too big. Bellesera hits it right in the middle and for us is the perfect place to stay for location and amenities.
One suggestion would be to go to the Wynns Grocery just up the street from the hotel. You can stock up there on food, water, wine, whatever you want. The food selection is fantastic and one night we did a shrimp boil at the room, thanks to all the extra cooking utensils and stuff in the condo. Then walked up to 5th street for after dinner stroll. Absolutely wonderful location!!
