We went for their two for $30.00 meals with a bottle of wine included. The choices were not bad. Portions were adequate and quality average. We chose the upgrade ( for an extra 10.00 per person) which increased options and added a salad. Wine was the $3.99 variety available in Wallmart. Service was friendly and efficient. We would go again but are not in any rush.

We stayed in naples for a week and ate here on our first and last evenings. Eating out in Naples on 5th Avenue can be a pricey affair but this restaurant gives you options of great food at a more reasonable price due to their offers and honest waiters! The portions are big, so we shared a calamari appetiser - more than adequate for two, then ordered risotto and were advised by the waiter to have the appetiser portions -which were double the size i was expecting! So pleased the waiter advised this as he could have easily not mentioned it! On our return we skipped the starters and went straight for the mains, I had rack of lamb( delicious, though a bit of a wait) and my husband had a duet of sea bass and snapper which was equally of very high standard. On both occasions we were given lovely fresh bread and a delicious dipping sauce of that I think was Olive oil, balsamic and parmesan (yum!) Two very pleasant evenings and would highly recommend

We arrived in time for the early bird special. My spinach salad was very good. My wife's vodka penne was also very good. We ordered 3 glasses of wine from the early bird menu, and our check was under $50 after the tip....and that was on 5th in Naples. Now I understand why there was a line of people waiting for the doors to open. Great food. Fast service, but we were not rushed. Great value.

I hate to call a well established restaurant in a prime restaurant location plain but this one certainly wasn't notable. At our table we ordered three different dishes. When all four plates came out they looked identical except for the green vegetables. Two different fish and one pork were all pan fried to the same golden color and placed on identical mounds of whipped potatoes. In fact, the two fish entrées tasted similar and we were not sure we had gotten the correct ones. It was fortunate that they tasted good. Maybe the restaurant is in some financial difficulty. It seemed to be understaffed. We waited at the bar for at least 15 minutes to be served. The bartender never stopped working but had to do everything himself without any help. Our waiter was a pleasant young man but he was never around, always running back and forth in the distance. We made our reservations through Open Table and there was no problem with it.

I am disappointed that you didn't think more of our Wine and Dine Entrees. It is difficult to keep the costs of the food and wine at a point where we can make our small margin. I talk weekly with all my purveyors in my search for the highest quality items I can present on our Wine and Dine menu.
The success of our wine and Dine program is very important to us, and we try to cook our very best. With the volume of these dinners, as well as the cost, we can’t make the menu overly ambitious. Each dish has something to offer.
We try hard to please as many people as we can.

Staffing a restaurant is not an easy job. To keep good employees in the front of the house we as owners have to make decisions based on our best information. Too many wait staff and Bartenders and no one can make a living. Too Few is obviously a problem for The customer and I, as the owner. We do our best to balance all the factors and staff accordingly. Sometimes our efforts are thwarted by circumstance and we are shorthanded. Or I made an error in my judgment
thinking we had plenty of staff that night.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused by our lack of staff.

We frequent this restaurant regularly. The convenient location on Fifth Avenue in downtown Naples makes it easy to find and parking is plentiful behind the restaurant and in the parking structure around the corner. The weekends are bustling at this restaurant. If you want a quiet dinner, it would be best to go during the week, and early. The Wine and Dine Menu, recently revamped, offers a variety of delicious entrees and a bottle of wine for $31 per couple (not per person). The crab cake entrée is delicious and full of fresh crab. The lemon parmesan sole is likely the most popular choice, but other choices are equally delicious. Their pork dish is made up of very tender pork tenderloins and a delicious light sauce. The sea bass entrée (an upcharge) is perfectly cooked. The wait staff is a bit overworked, but do their job. The wine offering, as part of the wine and dine, is good, particularly since it comes as part of the Wine and Dine Menu. The crème brule and flourless chocolate cake are excellent and large enough to be shared by two (definitely worth the calories). The bistro is one of two Fifth Avenue restaurants we frequent regularly and are always a good spot for people watching if you prefer to dine outside. You won't be disappointed in the food. The service can improve a bit, but it can be understood -- the place is always packed with diners. Be sure to make a reservation, particularly on weekends.
