I really enjoyed visiting this museum. It is very close to the Naples Pier, that's actually when I saw it and decided to take a tour. It was definitely worth it. The cottage is very well preserved. Our tour was great and it is definitely worth stopping in.

Took the walking tour of olde Naples yesterday led by Anne, a charming and knowledgable docent from the historical society. The history of the area is fascinating and who wouldn't love seeing the dolphins frolic around the pier? The cottages are all beautifully kept and Anne regaled us with history and anecdotes. Lastly we toured the lovely Palm Cottage which has withstood all the hurricanes which leveled other Naples structures over the years and took a leisurely stroll through the pristine Norris Gardens.
I highly recommend this your. I will surely take it again with visitors. The best value is to become a member of the Society and admission is free.

My wife and I spent a delightful two hours this November taking the Historical Society's guided tour of some of the classic houses in Olde Naples. Our guide, Anne, was engaging and informative. She shared stories of some of these lovely old homes and their occupants.
The tour concludes where it begins, at Palm Cottage. The home is a lovely time capsule, well preserved and filled with pictures of Naples past. Time well spent, indeed.

Palm Cottage is an architectural and historic treasure. Definitely worth a visit. Learning the history of the home and surrounding community lends perspective to our modern experience of Naples as an internationally renowned tourist destination. We owe so much to the early pioneers who settled this area. Taking the tour is a wonderful way to hear their stories.

After 8 years of coming to Naples, it was time to learn the history of this spot of paradise. No better way then taking the Naples Historical Society 2 1/2 hour walking tour of Olde Naples and Naplest oldest home, Palm Cottage. The docent, Nancy Webster, really made Olde Naples -with its cottages, architecture and stories supplimented with photographs a wonderful experience and just plain FUN!
