“Fantastic beach!”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

This beach is lovely! The waters are warm and shallow and the sand is lovely. There were plenty of parking spaces and parking was fairly priced. The beach wasn't overcrowded either. There was also the option to rent chairs, etc for those who didn't have their own.

“Great Gulf shore State Park”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

This is a spacious stretch of Beach with great sand, sun, and fishing. I love taking Nature photos and bird life action here. Many fish from the shore at the pass or beach. It is worth the entrance tax!

“Serene beach”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

I was surprised there weren’t more people as the beach was very peaceful and the sunset sublime... on a Friday evening!

After paying the entrance fee (well, dad used his State Parks pass), we parked at the 2nd lot. There were plenty of spaces available; in fact, my family scored the first spot. Our own little claimed area on the beach was very clean and had lots of seashells for the kids. The whole place just felt safe and family-friendly. Just before the park closed, the ranger on an ATV drove down the beach to let everyone know the gate was closing.

The sand here was fine and quite nice. Didn't find a beach house or shower to rinse off any sand, but I guess we just didn't look hard enough.

If you're looking for a more quiet beach, DW Pass is definitely worth a visit!

“You Could be on a Deserted Isand”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

Yes, a narrow beach but buffeted by conifers lending a feeling of seclusion. Head north to the pass and climb the observation tower to glimpse the city of Naples to the South complete with high rise condos. Lots of mangroves and birds. You might catch a dolphin but do enjoy the belly flopping pelicans as they land.

“Beautiful beaches with facilities”
Reviewed 24 July 2014

Wiggins State Park requires either an annual pass (with a discount for Vets) or you pay by the day. The beach is beautiful with plenty of parking. There are multiple areas with restrooms and showers located in each. If you are a beach person, the pass is a great value. It is located in North Naples and in season, you should plan on arriving early.
