“Another cookie-cutter hotel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 March 2013

Nothing special about this place. We had a quiet room on the top floor at the end of the corridor. It was clean, tho' the paint in the bathroom was peeling. THE best part was the $2 margaritas at the pool bar. They were actually full-strength margaritas, not a watered-down version for the special. The free breakfast was better than some places on this trip--at least they had hot scrambled eggs. All in all, not a bad place.

The hotel itself is large and has an outside pool and hot tub - we didn't arrive until late so didn't use it. Staff on reception were really helpful and polite at check- in. Our room on 3rd floor, no 302, was as far along the corridor as possible. It was nice and cool on arrival so we turned the air-con off. It was large, spacious, well lit, had a balcony overlooking the pool, in room facilities included a kitchen area, a TV with interference so the quality of picture was poor, a table and chairs and a large bathroom. We noticed after settling in that there was a leak in the bathroom - it was coming from ceiling and due to the staining and marks had been leaking for some time. We reported it to reception, they offered us a change of room but we decided to stay as we were already settled and was only here for 1 night. They brought us some towels and we used a container to catch the drips. Perhaps that was where we made a mistake as it was not a good nights sleep at all. The bed was so soft it was unbearable and the air-conditioning when it came on through the night was so loud it disturbed sleep. It was a difficult call between turning the thermostat up so it didn't come on and being too hot or been continually disturbed by the noise. Other than the air-con noise, noise didn't travel from other rooms nor from the road outside. I think the hotel needs some modernisation and new mattresses.

we were so happy with this hotel - $100.00 for a night in naples, florida? fantastic!!! - also, not on the bug-bed registry (we checked - no bed-bugs) - clean, great hot breakfast, quiet, wonderful pool and hot-tub, - yes, it's dated, but everything else was wonderful, and the price, how can you can go wrong? we would go again - and we recommend highly!

We booked this hotel with several other family members last minute to attend a funeral. Called the front desk directly and booked directly with the hotel for 3 nights. Check in went well, the room was ready when we arrived, and the front desk was friendly, trying to place family member's rooms close to one another. The room was muggy and warm when we arrived, so we turned down the AC, and thought the room wold cool off. No luck. First night the room was probably 78 degrees with 80% humidity. First thing the next morning we informed Alan at the front desk that our AC was not working. He said he would get someone up to fix it that day. We did not return to the hotel until 10:30 pm that night, and came back to a hot muggy room again. I immediately returned to the front desk where Armando said he could not find a maintenance slip, and sorry, maintenance was gone for the day, and they had no other rooms as they were completely sold out. He also said what he knew about our room number was that it worked better if you did not turn the AC down real far. Implying to me that this was not the first issue they had with our room and its AC. Night number 2 in a hot muggy room. We opened up the windows and balcony door because it was cooler outside and decided that the risk of mosquitoes and no-see-ums was worth being cool. I again went to the front desk the next morning to correct the issue. We were told that the AC could not be fixed, and that we could move rooms. GREAT. Packed up all our stuff and moved rooms, for one cool night. That night on the way to our new room, we saw 2 guests leaving our old room. They sold it again with the AC not working correctly!!! Staff was apologetic, but I had to ASK for compensation, as none was offered, and on check out was told that they had given us 50 dollars off our total bill for 3 nights.
This hotel is old, dated but clean. The lobby smells of stale smoke, but our non-smoking room did not. Mattresses on the bed were comfortable, foam pillows were smaller than standard but comfortable. The fridge was cold. Black out shades did their job if you wanted to sleep. Each room had its own little kitchen area with sink, and fridge. Bathroom was large, a tub shower combo, and single sink. Elevator smelled of motor oil, or exhaust, and was SLOW. Breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, yogurts, assorted fruits, pastries/breads, biscuits and sausage gravy, and make your own waffles. There was orange, cranberry, apple juice, milk and water. Coffee makers were available 24 hrs.
Overall, a basic hotel if your room AC worked..... But that was not our experience.

The hotel was not quite weird, but it was certainly odd. Most importantly, it was clean, and when booking Choice properties, is not always a given. The place is a little dated and must have been designed before computers were used to create spaces. The room seemed massive and oddly proportioned. The television was a good six feet from the end of the bed. We made no attempt to use it, knowing the neighbors would likely be complaining about the sound if we turned it up enough to hear it from the bed. There were two sinks for the bathroom and a full set of towels (I guess they did not get the 3 towel memo that has been circulating among American hotels). There was nothing “wrong” with the room - it was just configured in a disorienting manner. The breakfast area was very busy and seemed to have quite a selection of food - both hot and cold. I went out with a couple of nice bananas, cereal and milk. The milk dispenser looked like one of those old timers from high school with the big chrome lever & the pastries were served from a cabinet that looked like a treasure chest game. There were hinged plexiglass doors with the food items displayed in a sunken area beneath each door. Again . . odd - but not troubling. We’d probably look for another place to stay on our next trip before just automatically booking here again - but would not refuse to stay if it were available. The rate is reasonable for the area and the facility is clean. It met those expectations for us.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn on our way home from Key West. We stayed the 20th of January. The young man at the desk, Alvin was a great greeter. He was very informative and did everything to ensure that our stay was great. Our remote didn't work and he wanted to move us to a different room. That was very appreciated but was not needed. If ever back that way, we would stay there again. Thanks Alvin.

We were on a road trip round Florida and had programmed another hotel into the sat-nav and ended up at the Days Inn by mistake.(Must have been the sat nav. Men drivers dont make mistakes!!) This turned out to be probably the most enjoyable hotel we stayed in during our holiday. Right fom booking in ( Alvin you know how to make people feel welcome while under pressure) to our departure we couldnt fault this hotel. A very nice complementary breakfast was on offer to start us off as we hit the road for another day. Must make mention of Adolpho in the bar who went out of his way to make us feel at home when he heard we were from Belfast the home of his hero George Best. This was a very nice hotel at a very good price and i shall look forward to the sat-nav sending me here next time I am touring Florida.
