We went to a wedding at this hotel and stayed four nights. Neither of us had been to a resort hotel for a number of years and we were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are large, clean and fully air-conditoned; there are two pools, a spa and the hotel is on the beach; golf and tennis is also avaliable. Ticked all of the boxes, was very relaxing. No complaints.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Watson Wing, which was fine.

If your looking for a place to stay in Naples I would say this is the best location as it is on the beach and easy drive to all the restaurants and shops. We stay here for a 11 nights and had no problems the only tips I can give is to save your cash. If your staying around the pool the chairs and sun beds are free but if your going to go onto the beach you will pay for them, a sun bed is $10 each a day. So the best thing to do if your staying for more than 4 nights is to drive to one of the many supermarkets which are only 2 miles away and buy a chair of bed which start from $18, I paid $32 which after 4 days paid for it self. Same for drinks and lunch buy you drinks ( water, beer snacks ) from the supermarket and put then into your fridge in your room which can save you $5 on a beer and $2 on a bottle of water. If you like fishing this is the place to bring a rod but don't worry if you forgot it as you can always buy a rod and reel kit from the supermarket. Have a great time

The room was spacious with a nice view of the gulf and city. The balcony was large, it expanded the entire width of the room. The room was decorated nicely with plenty of storage space and cheery. The bathroom had a large shower that was nicely tiled and sliding glass doors. The room also had a separate vanity that facilitated multiple people getting ready. The resort was situated right on the beach. There are 3 pools with two of them looking brand new. Two of the pools are very large and great for lap swimming. There is a bar right next to the beach which served great sandwiches. Our rental also included free gated parking. My only complaint was that wireless internet was not free.

We booked a trip in July for our anniversary. I read some of the reviews but decided to give it a go. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised! Check in was quick and easy and we were given a room in the Watkins building. The room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious. We had that "ahhh" moment when we walked in. Housekeeping did a good job and were very helpful.

We walked around the grounds, and they were well maintained; perfect for a romantic evening stroll. We were a bit disappointed with the the main pool being closed due to renovations. (We peeked over and it looks like it's going to be nice once complete) I did not hear any construction noise early in the morning but they did start mid day while on our stay. The next day we took advantage of their poolside services. The service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed the other pools that were available. The beach was beautiful; not overcrowded and noisy. There were many families there with kids and they seemed to have an enjoyable time.

My hubby and I enjoyed a nice meal from HB's on the Gulf and enjoyed the beachside service. I would recommend the grouper sandwhich :) The breakfast buffet was good and the servers were pleasant and friendly. I would have liked to see a bit more variety of offerings though for those staying longer than two days.

Overall, this was the perfect getaway. We didn't go to play golf but we did see the annoucement about the renovations on their website when we booked in early May. The Naples Beach and Golf Club is really a gem in Naples!

Room Tip: The Watkins building is newly renovated

We enjoyed our visit from June 10 - 15th. Clean property and rooms. We stayed in Watkins building on 7th floor and had a view of the gulf. Loved our room, cleaned our room every day and night came in and turned down beds and left chocolates. We ate at the buffet breakfast once, it was ok. We just did not want to spend $40 every day for breakfast, so we went elsewhere. We also the store down in lobby to buy some breakfast fast foods, fruit, drinks, etc. We were not there to golf, so we did not care the golf course was not open. We had three issues, one check in for 4pm, well our room ws not ready at 4pm, maybe 4:30pm. We just wanted to rest, after travelling most of day. Second issue was parking on the weekend was not good, each building has their own lot, we had to drive around to find a spot which is frustrating on vacation, almost ended parking across the street. But after Sunday the people cleared out. Last issue, on weekend again, they ran out of beach/pool towels! I was told I had to wait 1 hour for a towel! That was not acceptable. I won't blame the hotel but the inconsiderate guests at the hotel. People who take a towel put it over a chair by the pool and save the spot for hours and leave! There are people like us had no towel or no place to sit by the pool. I sent my complaint to hotel about this. They have to make sure people are not saving their seats and towels all day. Just not right. When we were done with ours we returned them immediately. People only care about themselves and not others. The last 2 days they had an unforeseen repair in the one pool and it was noisy. But they have to repair it - can't do much about that. Did not bother us, we sat at other pool that was still open. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would go back, just not on a weekend.

We normally stay in Marco island when traveling to Southwest Florida but always find that it's a bit dead in the evenings with nothing to do. This time around we decided to stay in Naples and were very happy. Rooms were extra clean, the new pool was under construction unfortunately but the old pool was sufficient for the kids to play around in. The beach was excellent and this is coming from a person who isnt into beaches much unless they are in the carribean but the Gulf beaches are very nice!! Value for whT you pay for isn't bad but then again I'm use to NYC hotels where you usually break the bank on a one night stay. We stayed at the Watkins tower and am actually sitting on my verandah as I write this review. Thought it's only fair to do since I rely heavily on these myself before traveling anywhere.
Overall, great place, good value, very close to 5th avenue where all the great restaurants and shops are.

After two weeks in Orlando with our family, we travelled to the Marriott Hotel in Key Largo for three nights, which was wonderful. It was then downhill when we arrived at the Naples Beach Resort and GOLF CLUB. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. I booked this hotel so that my husband could play golf, only to be told when he went to book, that the course was closed until September. The next thing was that we were woken a 8a.m. because of the noise from the building work that was being carried out, with that and the work being done on the one swimming pool (which was closed) there was noise and dust everywhere. The food in the hotel was expensive (as was the Marriott) but here it was not good value! The staff (other than a couple of them who were helpful) need to go on a customer service training course, they were indifferent to say the least. The only saving grace for this hotel was the lovely bedroom, but we did not want to spend all day in our room. When we checked out we gave the gentleman on the reception the customer comment form we had filled in and told him how we felt, his indifference to us can only lead us to the conclusion that we are not the only people to have complained.

Room Tip: Definately book a sea view room.
