We spent 9 nights in May I, my husband and my 11 year old son.
I loved the location. Near the beach and the best restaurants.
The rooms are large and all have lovely views.
The front desk staff is very kind and always ready to help.
Surely we will return.

Room Tip: All rooms are the same.

We have been staying at the Charter Club for a week the past 4 summers and really have enjoyed every visit. It is a real vacation for us. We are able to slow down and relax while there. Close to the beach, to 5th Ave and Tin City is an added bonus. The pool overlooks Naples Bay offering a beautiful view. Our only issue was with the pool deck, it can get slippery when even slightly wet. Several people fell while walking on the deck while we were there. Free bicycles to use during the day are perfect to use to tour the area on.

The condo is quite large and well maintained. Our unit recently had new updates including new flooring and living room furniture.

Room Tip: Building #1 is closest to the pool. Building #11 is at the far end away from the front desk, bike re...

Thank you for returning to our resort. We are delighted to have your continued patronage over the years and are thrilled to read that you have really engaged the opportunity to take advantage of everything the resort has to offer you. Your satisfaction and safety, and that of all of our guests, is very important to us as such, we paint our pool deck yearly with the recommended H&C® Concrete Stain from Sherwin Williams. Over the past 15 years we have followed the same application…in fact we double the required amount of H&C® SharkGrip™ slip resistant additive to assist in providing a surface that is slip resistant. We are thrilled you seemed pleased that we were following these particular instructions regarding the application when we spoke during your stay.
We have team members constantly monitoring our pool area…in fact our snack bar overlooks the pool. We are unaware of the ‘Several people that fell’ as you mentioned. In fact, there were no incident reports taken during this time nor has there been any incident reports from a slip on the pool deck filed since it was painted last year. Going back over the past 15 years, I would say that less than a handful of reported incidents have occurred on the pool deck from slips. This does not mean that it has not occurred and we will most definitely observe the area and apply any action that is needed to prevent slips. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

My husband and I own timeshare weeks here and absolutely love the location of the resort. Best rooms to go for are those in blocks 1-5 on 2nd and 3rd floors. Mostly we are happy but there is room for improvement. As owners, we do not pay for Wi-Fi but it should be free to all. The free pc in the office has 'Noah was here' engraved on the side because it surely came out of the ark! An irritant for us is the woefully small pool and when half of this is sectioned off for child safety reasons, available pool space is diminished even further. Apartments are well furnished and are routinely upgraded.
Our main criticism however is the lack of office staff after 6pm. There is no-one on site at all. There is an emergency contact number but for a 'Gold Crown' resort, this does not seem quite adequate. Also, owners do not get the mid week cleaning service that non owners get...why not?!
Having said all that, we love the location and are willing to put up with the fact that most years we prefer to buy our own beach furniture rather than use resort sun loungers etc, which also came out of the same ark as the office pc. Usually we donate these at the end of our stay.
We have seen many different reception staff over the years, most of whom are helpful. Maintenance staff are especially friendly and helpful.
It is worth giving the resort a try bearing in mind the above niggles.

Room Tip: Choose blocks 1_5, on the second and top floors.

For over 10 years my parents invited us to come down in January.

Due to health issues and a change in employment I was finally able to say yes.

While friends and family endured sub teen temperatures north of Baltimore we are riding free bikes to the silky white sandy beaches in the warm sunshine of Naples.

Love the location.
2-bedroom units are spacious, well stocked, and cozy though they could use a faster internet and elevators.

Soaking in the hot whirlpool overlooking the harbor at sunrise was a treat.

I am currently staying at The Charter Club of Naples Bay. I booked a 2-bedroom, 2 bath unit
through my timeshare exchange company. We have been fortunate to have wonderful weather
this time of year which has added to the experience. It is a lovely, quiet resort overlooking Naples Bay. All the staff are friendly and helpful. It is delightful to sit on the large screened in porch and
watch the boats sail by. There is a small pool area with a hot tub but I did not use. We have a large flat screen TV in the living room and another in the master bedroom. There is a small TV in
the 2nd bedroom. It is within walking distance of the Boathouse restaurant which is waterfront and
picturesque. Early birds get 15 per cent off but it is reasonably priced. It is also close to upscale
shopping if your budget allows. My speed was more the Coastal Mall a few minutes drive away.
I did think in this day and age when even McDonalds has wifi, this resort should offer free wifi to
everyone, just not owners. The other item which happens frequently in two bedroom timeshares
that I visited is that the second bedroom has two small beds. I think one queen-sized bed would be more comfortable. I think this resort is bet suited for people who want a quiet retreat but be close to amenities. They alo have a nice clubhouse which offers free coffee in the am and has a
local paper for the guests.

Room Tip: If you have mobility issues, try to get a room on the ground floor. If you want the best view, req...

This was an RCI exchange for us. We usually stay on Captiva when we visit SW Florida, however, we chose to stay in Naples on this trip for its proximaty to Big Cypress, Everglades, and Corkscrew Swamp, none of which we'd visited before. RCI rates this resort as Gold Crown, but I would consider it Silver. The resort sponsors no activities other than the obiligatory first-day breakfast orientation. Yes, it's on Naples Bay, but the views are extremely limited and the pool/lounge area very, VERY small. Yes, they provide free amenities like bikes, beach chairs, and towels. No, they do not provide free internet. Internet is $10/day or $30/week (the $30 weekly rate was offered to us as RCI members~no idea whether it applies to the general public.) It's clear the front desk staff has had folks take issue with the fee because they emphasize the fact that there was a "free" computer upstairs in the "clubroom" for everyone's use. We chose the $30/week option. Speaking of the front desk staff, one is surly and disinterested and the other is ditzy and only somewhat more interested. I won't elaborate here, but those opinions are based on actual experiences. Our unit was in the last building and on the second floor. There were 8 steps from the parking area to the building, and another 15 steps to the second floor. The closer a building is to the office, the fewer steps from the parking lot. A second floor unit seems to be the best, as the first floor units have no view and a screen door on the lanai that would make it unsafe to sleep with the sliding doors to the lanai open. Because it's an older property, the master bedroom is larger than most and the bathrooms smaller. It has been nicely renovated in the past few years. The only complaints about the unit are with the living room sofabed/loveseat. If you are taller that 5'6", you will have a very difficult time sitting comfortably because the seat cushtion depth is very short. Also, the upholstery was badly in need of cleaning. The living room could benefit from a comfortable chair. Midweek housekeeping/linen exchange is provided. The resort is within easy walking distance to Drayton Cove and Tin City. It would be better to bike or drive to the beach and the upscale shopping/dining areas. I don't anticipate staying in Naples again, especially on a timeshare exchange. That being said, I would recommend the resort with the above caveats.

Room Tip: Second floor, close to the office will give you a view and fewer steps.

Thank you for sharing your feedback following recent stay with us. As providing flawless customer care is imperative to us, it is with some concern that we read your account of service offered by our front desk team. We would like to assure you that we will address this issue. We are glad that you appear to have had an otherwise pleasant stay, however, and we thank you for your recommendation. We wish you all the best on your future travels!

The resort property is lovely. The 2 bedroom condo was well equipped, extremely clean and convenient to the area. We enjoyed early morning coffee and evening cocktails on the lanai watching the goings on in the adjacent park and boat landing. I would recommend a lower floor if climbing stairs is tough since there are no elevators. All in all, I would go back. it was a good experience.
