“Near 5th Avenue, Nice Rooms, Quiet Pool!”
Reviewed 17 July 2009

My Partner and I stayed at the Trianon for a 2 night stay as part of a trip around Florida in June 09. The hotel looks very grand on arrival and has ample parking which is a plus, our check-in was smooth and quick, the hotel is quiet and peaceful which actually fits into what Naples is all about, the rooms were large and spacious with all the amenities you require, the bathroom was large with bath and separate shower. The staff were helpful but not in your face and the breakfast was basic but did the trick. The pool area was nice and peaceful with rarely anyone around it so you basically had it all to yourself which was good. The location of the hotel is great as it is literally a 2 minute walk to 5th avenue and the beach was probably a 15 minute walk away. The beach area is lovely and very close to the famous Naples Pier where you can see people fishing off the end of it and the dolphins swimming and pelicans overhead! All in all, the hotel is a great base and has all the amenities required, we would definitely stay here again if we ever returned to Naples as you are guaranteed a relaxing stay!

We stayed at the Trianon for four nights, the reception area is lovely very grand and so different to the bigger chains. We arrived early and the man at reception looked to see if a room was free and sure enough there was, he was very friendly and helped us with information and offered us beach chairs. There was another man on reception during our stay and he was very cold. Our room was a standard room but so spacious and the bathroom was big with a huge shower and separate bath. The bed was the best I have ever stayed in. The breakfast is included and is basic but for something little to eat and a drink it's fine. The pool is small and not many sunbeds so if it's busy you would struggle to get a bed in the sun. The hotel location is close to 5th avenue for shops, restaurants and bars, it's a 15 min walk to the beach, we went in the car and paid at Naples pier. If I went back to Naples for longer than four days, I would want to stay here for the location to 5th but for the beach it's too far away.

Our room was large and clean. We had a very small balcony as well. The bathroom is one of the bigger ones (top!). The bed is very nice. There was no fridge in the room. The safe is big, you can store your mini labtop. We did not use the pool, there are free towels for the pool.
Parking is not a problem and also free of charge.
Walking to the pier at the beach takes about 35 minutes.
There was one day they did not clean the room, after telling this and friendly asking for fresh towels the man at the frontdesk told us we had to remove the biljet with do not disturb sign. We certainly did not used this sign etc. He was not friendly, i do not know why, Breakfast was very very minimum. Its a guiet little hotel in a very nice location.
Restaurants and shops are closeby and only a few minutes walking.

We spent 2 nights at the Trianon. The public areas are lovely & beautifully maintained. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with directions & recommendations. Our room was spacious, well decorated, very clean & comfortable.
I loved the huge separate shower in the bathroom. Breakfast was a nice selection of cereals, toast, bagels, fruit etc. There aren't many tables in the elegant dining area but we never found it a problem. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean & very pleasant. You can walk very easily to 5th Avenue or Tin City from the hotel. Parking is free. We had a great meal at a seafood place in Tin City. I think it was called Riverside Restaurant. There's a great atmosphere. Naples is lovely & it's nice to be able to walk around easily.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here & wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to friends.

I must say first that my husband and I received a free two-night stay here as a wedding gift from a friend. We normally do not stay at higher priced hotels. We were very happy with our stay. Let me tell you that the cleanliness was very good. The location was outstanding. We could walk to 5th Avenue where you can find finer shops and restaurants. We highly recommend eating at the Mangrove Cafe which offered exceptional food at reasonable prices. There is a Starbucks too (my husband's favorite coffee place). In addition, there was an art festival on Saturday and Sunday on 5th Avenue during our stay. The rooms were very comfortable, spacious and tastefully designed. The service from the staff was outstanding. They were very accommodating whenever we had a question. The complimentary continental breakfast was just that. They offered bagels, muffins, toast, fresh fruit, cereal, doughnuts and choice of beverages. We plan on returning when the rates are cheaper. It is a great place for adults to stay. There were no children or teenagers around so I would say this is a more "adults only" hotel. It would be too boring for them anyway.

We stayed at the Trianon for one night in March. After a few days of characterless huge hotels, it was a real pleasure to find a small (ish) hotel with really personalised service. Our room was big, with a fantastically comfortable bed (great new mattress) and a really nice bathroom. The pool is small but well done, and the hotel is in reasonable walking distance from the two main roads with restaurants and shops of Naples. It isn't a boutique hotel by European standards, but by Florida ones, it is. Certainly would stay here again if I were ever in Naples.

We were there for the Naples Half-Marathon and the hotel was very close to the race start. The hotel was nice and quiet and the pool was not crowded. The front desk staff was very helpful with directions. We didn't eat breakfast, but it looked a little sparse. Overall, I thought it provided a nice room for the price.
