Spent four nights in Naples to get away from the theme parks of Orlando.

Booked directly with the hotel, got a package, stay 3 nights, get 4th free. It's worth looking at their specials on their website.

Location is great, right in the middle of Olde Naples, you can walk everywhere (bit fare to 3rd street area and beach but there's parking everywhere). Hotel promote their valet parking but they have a large car park at the rear of the hotel which is free.

We had a King Pool View on the 2nd floor which is a great spot to be in, out balcony lead straight to pool area, which is much better than their pictures show. Quite popular but there's enough loungers and towels for everyone.

Rooms themselves are a little dated, they could do with a makeover. However, they are comfortable with a large bed and sofa and very spacious. Maid service was very efficient, they serviced the room early and quickly. Front desk staff helpful. You can borrow chairs and an umbrella for the beach (you'll need it, there's nothing there). You can rent fridges for $10 a day, we bought a huskee poly cooler box from the supermarket and filled it with ice, which worked fine. The nearest supermarket for snacks and lunch etc is the Wynn's Market on 9th (US41) a few minutes away.

Naples is a very classic town, we're in our 30s and found it a little old and staid for us, restaurants are all very formal and expensive. We preferred to drive out to the Waterside Mall where there is a Bricktops (excellent), Brio Tuscan Grill and a California Pizza Kitchen, all are busy and have great atmospheres. Takes around 10 mins to drive there.

Not sure we'd go to Naples again but would recommend this hotel for location, cleanliness and pool area.

We were due to stay in Naples for 2 weeks but left after 2 days.....the only thing I was sad about was leaving the hotel.

The room was great and the beds were so comfy! The pool area was nice, if a little close to the road.

Having travelled for 3 hours from Tampa after an 8 hour flight from the UK we were unable to get any food at 9pm on a Saturday night......

Stayed here in April 2008 on the last leg after Orlando and Miami. By far the cheapest and most elegant. Naples itself is very quiet though and there's not much to do. Staff at hotel helpful - "balcony" was a little disappointing - it was only about 15" wide! I expected a couple of chairs and a table but that was classed as a "terrace". Pool area very nice but pool small and only 3ft deep - not for teenagers but ideal for younger children. Very good value for money

We spent one night at the Inn on Fifth during a recent driving trip of southern Florida. Arrived mid-afternoon without a reservation and were able to negotiate a great rate---$139 a night. Had a lovely room with a king bed and a sitting area. Bed was the most comfortable bed that we have slept in in a very long time--including our own bed at home with a great pillow-top mattress. We did wish the room had had a refrigerator. Also, the shower looked great but in reality was just okay. Room was nicely furnished and very clean. Lobby area is also very attractive. We saw the pool area and it looked very nice but we did not use it.

Staff at the front desk were friendly and professional. They offer complimentary valet parking which we used but I think we could have just parked in the garage area under the hotel on our own. The location of the hotel is prime and there are many shops and restaurants in easy walking distance.

We would definitely stay there again.

we wanted a short get away not too far from st. pete here in florida and i had been to naples last year without my husband. this boutique hotel was the perfect location for walking everywhere we desired. lots of upscale shops, walkable to beach and wonderful restaurants. the attached pub was so convenient for a quick appetizer and glass of wine in early afternoon. our room faced 5th street with a balcony that allowed us to people watch. weather cooperated and i would definately stay here again for a romantic get away.

What a great hotel and bang on main street. Lovely, lovely check in staff - couldn't do enough to help us over our 5 night stay. Offered to upgrade our room if we wanted as we were staying 5 nights and didn't have the nicer room for first 2 nights, we didn't move rooms as we were happy with the room, great bed! They were very helpful to us and allowed us to use the internet whenever we wanted. Yes the decor is a bit chintzy but it's clean, spacious and everything worked. One downside was not good food in the bar attached to the hotel, however there is a huge choice of restaurants in Naples so you don't need to eat in the hotel. It is about 10 mins walk to the beach so not that convenient if you want to bring your bucket and spade, however the pool was sufficient for us.
