The view of the ocean-gorgeous! The kitchen was updated. The building had an elevator. The plastic chairs on the balcony were surprisingly comfortable. Handheld shower wands were a nice touch. Bed was very comfortable, loved laying there watching the ocean. We appreciate the fact that the condominium was pet friendly.
for the $125 you charged us for our pet you could if at least had one little patch of grass for our dog to do her business. It was nothing but sand, weeds and little sand spurs that stuck to her paws. Those things hurt badly! There was absolutely no landscaping. The exterior of the building is in dire need of some TLC. The ground floor was unattractive, and unlit. It doesn’t appear that the building is maintained. The balcony is extremely un-level, to the point we felt unsafe standing near the edge. There are places inside the condo that are un-level, as well. The TV was supposed to have Roku linked in but we couldn’t find the signal, called the office three times with no answer. The shower wand in guest bathroom has a crack in it. The inside needs to be touched up, there are areas where paint is chipping, cracks in tile and the balcony is weathered badly. Overall it was a good experience but we paid high nightly rates for this condo and we expected more.
First of all, Wyndham had no problem collecting the $250 pet fee for our 7 pound dog and emphasizing it is non-refundable but totally neglecting to inform us that pets are not allowed on the beach. (We saw that rule nowhere but a "NO Dogs on BEACH" sign miraculously appeared in our elevator the day we left.)
Secondly, this unit looked nice on the surface but my husband fell on the terribly slippery living area floor which was wet due to rain leaking around the sliding glass door. His ribs and hip are bruised, after Xrays . Also, the shower was extremely slippery so needed to put hand towel on the floor to keep from falling. The king size bed was awful, very squeaky and lumpy.
The property itself is very run down and in need of maintenance. The only friendly people we met were a police officer informing us of the pet rule and the employees at Publix.
We stayed only 3 nights out of the 7 for which we paid.
