There is a small fee to enter this national park to visit the historic site, but it is worth seeing.
This is a 2000 year-old mound with a well maintained wooden walkway over the mound of the Indian shells and other remnants that still exist for all to see. There is a great view from up top of the mound which is easily walk-able by everyone, including the view of the Cape Canaveral Seashore and the river.
Lots of prickly pear cactus blooming and wild flowers. The visitors center has a film and also nice displays and several huge turtle shells.
