“Creative decor in rooms, fabulous food and outstanding hospitality”

My husband and I booked all 6 rooms for our friends that were attending our daughter's wedding. They were greeted with a glass of wine from Inn-keepers, John and Dee. They went from room to room ohhng and ahhing at the different whimsical decor. The shared patio was a very nice place to get together as a group and the proximity to down town New Smyrna allowed them to walk to bars and cafes. The food was to die for and everyone truly enjoyed their stay.

My wife and I spent our anniversary night at the Longboard and wished we could have stayed longer. We actually had the two story house known as Nuns and Roses all to ourselves. What an awesome and historic property. In fact the whole neighborhood is fantastic. John recommended Maloney's Oyster Bar (within walking distance) and The Grille at Riverview (short drive away). We tried both and were glad we did. The breakfast was excellant and the people we joined we very friendly. If you want to see Florida as it should be check out New Smyrna Beach and the Long Board Inn.

Just like the other raving reviews of the Longboard Inn, we stayed there last year and again this year. The place is perfect! We hit on our way down from South Carolina in route to Port Canaveral for cruises. Its the perfect stop over location being an hour away from the ship. Would love to go when we can stay more than 1 night. The rooms decor is awesome and we try to select a different room each time. Breakfast is creative and really very good. Had English French Toast this last trip and the breads are wonderful. Love to hang out on the back porch. Its very cozy and tropical. Take an early am walk down to the marina and take a rest in Old Fort Park.
Hit the beach and have a burger at The Breakers.
Will always choose to stay at the Longboard on our trips down the east coast of Florida. The owners are fantastic, the rooms are perfect, and the food is eclectic. Also love that lip balm in the room!

We stayed at Longboard Inn for a weekend and felt like we had boarded a boat and landed at Key West. It was so gorgeous with a tropical oasis outside your door. We fell in love with the room. It made our stay feel relaxed, refreshed, and most of all like we were truly on vacation. The host was so pleasant and cooked up a most amazing breakfast each morning. We had some of the best meals for breakfast which was a great start to the day before heading to the beach or shopping. I can't wait to visit again.

We stayed at the Longboard Inn and Nuns and Roses in May for a wedding celebration. We chose these two Bed and Breakfast Inns because of the glowing reports from this website. John and Dee Green, the owners, take exceptional pride in their inns and provide everything possible for guests.
The rooms are quaint with beautiful furnishings. There are private baths in each room, central air, a refrig, TV, phone, internet, robes, etc. The breakfasts provided are definitely gourmet. Their "Rum Runner French Toast" is to die for. The owners and guests share lively conversations around the breakfast table. We only have fond memories of our stay. We will return sooner than later. John and Dee run a very well organized operation that is VERY REASONABLY PRICED. Guests should be held responsible for cancelling their reservations on time. For specialty groups it is a 30 day policy and 14 day policy otherwise. I know first hand that John and Dee try to rebook rooms that have been cancelled at the last minute in order to eliminate a charge on the guest's bill. I question any review on this website that fault the owners for charging for rooms that cannot be rebooked. Business is business.

My wife and extended family stayed at the Longboard Inn and across the street at Nuns and Roses before our marriage. The atmosphere was amazing and it reminded me of Cayucos, Ca but with more charm. Each room has its own signature design and was beautifully put together. John's involvement really put an exclamation point on our stay. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast with a unique assortment of fine food to choose from for our whole family to enjoy. From start to finish, the hospitality was above any B&B I’ve ever stayed at. It was a very memorable weekend that I'll never forget. Thank you!!

I stayed at the Longboard Inn before we went on a cruise. Everything from the rooms, to the breakfast, to the decor was incredible. The staff was friendly and the grounds were beautiful. An incredible place to stay with family, friends, or for a romantic getaway. The rooms are decorated nicely and the grounds are clean. Everything about our experience was wonderful. I have been in the hotel business for years and feel this place has top service, great accomodations, and has a great feel to it. If you are traveling to the area, I would stay there over any place. You will not be dissapointed! I normally stay at 4 to 5 star hotels and this place is a true gem! They go above and beyond here to make your stay a fantastic one!
