Our group, an athletic team, stayed two nights at this hotel during a weekend tournament and from check-in to check out the staff was one of the best I have run across in our group travels and my personal travels, business and leisure. Friendly, helpful and eager to go the extra mile. Fantastic staff.

The rooms were adequate with the Hilton bedding which made for a comfortable sleep. Nice bathrooms. Note: the previous comments about the narrowness of the rooms is accurate as there is not much room between the TV and desk and the edge of the bed... of course, we weren't all that interested in spending lots of time in the room other than the necessities.

There are two restaurants right outside the front door with one being pub food and the other a decent seafood restaurant. Also, the location provides an easy drive to other restaurant.

Breakfast is a cook to order breakfast including omletes, juices, cereals, toast, bagels, fruits etc. Very nice with adequate seating.

All in all a very pleasant stay at this property and recommend it to all not looking for 4 star accomodations.

We stayed one night here using our Hilton points. I was shocked at how narrow the rooms are. You can't sit at the desk and push the chair back very far, because you will bump into the bed. Plus, the desk is right in front of the TV, so if someone is watching TV, the TV is right in your face. The beds were nice and everything else was new and in good condition, but the desk area was essentially useless. This is a real problem if you need to work or want to use your computer.

The pool area is small but nice. The whirlpool was nice also. It's now open 24 hours, which is a nice bonus.

Also, the shower/sink water is VERY hard. It felt like the soap wouldn't leave my hair/hands/etc. UGH!

Stayed here for three nights. My room had a minifridge and microwave, and a flat widescreen television. I think the air conditioning is on a governor, the temperature would not go below 68 and it wasn't very warm outside (about 75). The beds were comfortable but they only have a sheet and a very thick duvet, which was much too heavy and hot considering the temperature wouldn't go down no matter how low I set the thermostat. Breakfast was decent, with and omelet station, fresh fruit, etc, for $10.

The worst part of the stay was the incredibly hard water in our room. It was impossible to get the slippery residue off your skin when showering or washing your hands. Showers took much longer because of the residue. Other guests had the same experience. It was very frustrating.

There was a small pool outside with a nice brick privacy fence and a hot tub that was out of order during our stay. The lobby was nice and comfortable. A USA today was dropped at our door each day. Overall, it was a decent stay but it would have been much better with a few improvements.

I chose this hotel because of its great central location between Tampa and Clearwater. We were in town for a soccer tournament in Palm Harbor, but also needed to visit the Ed Radice Sports complex. Both of which were very close to the hotel. The staff was very helpful in catering a pizza party for the kids. Overall, we had a great stay.
