“Never Disappoints!”

Universal has always been amazing every time I have gone. The new Harry Potter ride and area is incredible! I would choose Universal and IoA over Disney any day! Make sure you get the refillable cup for multiple days!

“Fun for all ages”
Reviewed 22 August 2014 via mobile

We love this and there is something for all. Love the free refills of water and drinking fountains too. Very clean and lots of fun. Only disappointing moment was when a teenage attendant enjoying his power trip stopped someone from riding harry potter as they took their flip flops off (thinking they wouldn't need them as their legs were dangling and Going upside down and might fall off) the teenager in question was snotty and wouldn't listen to reason. Apart from that other members of staff were friendly and helpful

“Prepare for long lines”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Visited first week of august, got there 20 minutes before opening and still had to queue just to get into Diagon alley. Staff told everyone in line that Gringotts ride already had a wait time of 3 hours 15 minutes ( at 8.40!!!) The single rider line had been taken off due to the ride reaching capacity. Had a look around Diagon Alley then went back to go on other rides. Due to everyone staying at Universal hotels getting complimentary express passes, the lines for most rides are very long. Disney have a better plan with certain days having benefits for hotel guests, unfortunately if you are not prepared to spend tons of money at universal you have to queue for hours. That said I still love this park, and if you plan you can make it work. We went back into Diagon Alley at 1.30 and they had just opened the single rider line as the regular line had dropped to 120 minutes, we only waited 25 minutes and were all in the same car just not next to each other. It was fab. We went back to universal for an evening visit and was disappointed at lack of security, many youths drunk and smoking in line and around park. Universal need to take this in hand, after all it's a family park.

“Not as Good as Other Parks”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Although I am an Orlando resident, I had not gone to Universal Studios in years. I had never gone to Islands before this week. The Studios side is okay, the Islands side was disappointing. Several of the inside rides were simply the same thing over and over again. While the Happy Potter site was a little fun, the outside was more interesting than the inside. The maintenance - paint, finish, fiberglass, and especially the flowers/plants/trees were far below the quality of the other near by major theme parks.

NOTE: There are steps at many rides rather than ramps!!!

“Great fun!”
Reviewed 22 August 2014

Been several times before but theres always something new. Great rides, went on Sunday for the first visit and lines weren't bad, second visit was a Monday and most rides were an hour's wait. Got fed up and caught the Harry Potter train to Islands of Adventure. Had a great time and would recommend do anyone young or old!
