“Fun!”
Reviewed 12 November 2013

We received free admission tickets with our Disney Vacation Package. We spent about an hour there. It's great if you like arcades. There are a lot of choices from vintage arcades to very recent. We did not have the chance to try the virtual experience (there was too much wait) but I attended a drawing class and I thought it was fun.

I would not pay 40$ to go there but with 50% off or free tickets (included in the package), I would go back.

“Pleasantly surprised!!”
Reviewed 12 November 2013 via mobile

We had the water park & more option on our disney passes, so admission to disney quest was included for us. We had originally planned on skipping it however, as some reviews made it sound like a waste of an afternoon. We are SO happy we heckled it out! It was very slow both days we went and my son and husband were able to do any experience or play any game with no wait :) the games were all in good working order and the establishment was in line with typical disney standards/cleanliness (which is always good!)
My son had such a great time and it was a great break from the parks for an afternoon. We will definitely go back next time we are there!

“Fun but pricey”
Reviewed 9 November 2013 via mobile

First time visiting. Decided to go for my son's birthday. If you have a kid that likes video games, then this is the place to go.

Five levels of pure gamer's bliss. The best was the simulator ride that lets you design your own roller coaster. There is one Alien game on the 5th floor that even the boys thought was lame. Really needs to be replaced. Also, the virtual reality was cool but really dated. The Toy Story bumper type cars were a blast!

Overall, a lot of fun. I think the price was steep for the experience, but not disappointed that we went.

“Overpriced and outdated!”
Reviewed 5 November 2013

We visited DisneyQuest for one night in August 2013 as a family of 4, as we had admission, included in a Attraction Tickets Direct bundle. I truly cannot believe that this is a genuine area of Disney, as it doesn't compare to the other amazing attractions they offer.

Upon entering, the area was hot, and there was certainly a lack of A/C throughout the virtual-park. We immediately had to enter a lift to Level 3, which rather confused the whole idea of being able to navigate well. We immediately bought some food, although being fairly decent, was overpriced, which is sadly a big factor in Disney anyway. Compared to the other attractions in Disney, this virtual park is appalling in most areas. A percentage of the games were out of order, and there was no identical game on hand that we could play. Some of the video games were quite engaging, but some of them take too long, and therefore increase queue times dramatically.

Most of the actual mini-rides in DisneyQuest were extremely outdated, and they all felt as if they needed a good revamp. The Aladdin Ride, for example, failed to amuse any of us, as it was rather repetitive and didn't really replicate the film.

The staff were not particularly outgoing unlike the rest of Disney, and they failed to position people on rides even after the ride was mainly free of people. The staff seemed to be as tired as we were of the whole area, and after around 4 hours, felt we had to leave, as there was simply nothing that we were able to do.

If we were to come back and have a ticket bundle including DisneyQuest, we would definitely not come back again, let alone if we didn't have a bundle including the tickets. We wouldn't want to pay the price of around $150 for this mostly terrible attraction.

However, please don't let this put you off the amazing Downtown Disney! There is are multiple restaurants, shops, a cinema and several other attractions that will probably take your fancy.
I hope I have been able to help you, and that you enjoy your time wherever you may be holidaying!
