“Animals hiding from Crowds.Pick your day.”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

Animal Kingdom is one of the major Disney Attractions. My favourite would be EPCOT followed by the Magic Kingdom. We re-visited after a lapse of a few years and wow was it crowded. They take $15 off you for the car park and you then queue for a wheeled train which transports you to the entrance. Do remember to note which line of cars you are in denoted by an animal and the lane number. If you leave early you could be there a long time if you don't. Like the Disney product always clean and beautifully laid out. It felt like visiting a fair every so often with venue for food and small rides. Sophisticated it is not. As you walk through the park there are areas and cages on either side with many species of animals and birds. Where you could see an animal it was often too crowded to study it properly and there were cages that looked empty but the animals seemed to be hiding as far as they could from the visitors and it wasn't a particularly hot day. Study the map but we didn't see anywhere to eat that looked inviting and it all seemed to be fast food and cokes. Possibly best viewed from an air balloon!!

“A different kind of zoo”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

Disney's Animal Kingdom is a mixture of a themepark and a zoo. Best of all is the rollercoaster Expedition Everest, because it is a different kind of coaster, with a small Yeti-museum if you have to wait in line. Second best was the Kilimanjaro Safari's (you sit dry, so also good to do when raining), mostly because the driver was speaking to us like we were on a real safari and were very lucky to see animals. The 3D film It's tough to be a bug is nice, especially the last minute which scared my neighbor. Overall the themepark was really cool! I like zoo's, but this combination of zoo and rides was great. Too bad we only had half a day, but it was enough for the highlights, including Dinosaur and Festival of the Lion King.

“Favorite, favorite, favorite”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

We loved all of Animal Kingdom. The only thing we disliked were the crowds. Because the streets and walkways seem to be a bit narrower…navigating behind, in and through strollers, motorized chairs for older folks, and people that stop in the middle of the walkways gets exhausting.

“Nice Park”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

Im not big on Animal parks. The tram is very nice to go out to see the animals on there turf. The guide was very knowledgeable about the animals. Go early to get on the tram to avoid the long wait. The rides were ok. More for little ones.
