“First time visitors and impressed”
Reviewed 29 November 2013 via mobile

Our first time to disneyworld and this park impressed us. The safari was very good, and the park itself was interesting. The only downfall, was there was a lack of detail to some areas, cleanliness was lacking, but overall it was good.

“Too busy, a bit of a disappointment”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

Looking forward to this but it was too busy, even in off season it was packed. We went straight to Kilimanjaro safari which was good, and the expedition everest ride is pretty good. Also the Bugs Life show was really funny. Recommended but try to go on a quiet day!

“Decent Park But Overpriced”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

I enjoyed my day at the animal kingdom, but I do have a couple of complaints about Disney and this park. One is they charge almost as much as the Magic Kingdom and it's not even close in my opinion. Second is, it's only open from 9-5 in November. We didn't get to see all we wanted to see. Third is, we had the Disney breakfast at the Tusker House and it was pricey, then they want $35 for a picture with the characters. When we did the Disney lunch at Magic Kingdom a couple of year's ago, the picture with Cinderella was included. I just felt like it wasn't worth what they charged and for the short hours, not worth it in my opinion. I will go elsewhere next time.

“Love this park!”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

The main attractions of Safari and Expedition Everest never disappoint. We tend to go in November and hope for breezes as this park seems to be more open than the others and gets hot. This park can also seem crowded but once you know exactly where you are going it's easily manageable.

Nemo and Lion King are both entertaining for all ages. We loved Flights of Wonder bird show and It's Tough To Be a Bug is a cute little show to see. The jungle treks are not extremely long, not crowded and interesting to see the animals in their space. Although they are out of their natural environment, they have acres and acres to roam and create their family structures unlike being in small spaces at a zoo.

Flame Tree BBQ was good as always. One sad thing to see was the disappearance of the delicious "state fair type" corn dog at the kiosk by the bridge in Asia. A dying breed.

“Animals hiding from Crowds.Pick your day.”
Reviewed 29 November 2013

Animal Kingdom is one of the major Disney Attractions. My favourite would be EPCOT followed by the Magic Kingdom. We re-visited after a lapse of a few years and wow was it crowded. They take $15 off you for the car park and you then queue for a wheeled train which transports you to the entrance. Do remember to note which line of cars you are in denoted by an animal and the lane number. If you leave early you could be there a long time if you don't. Like the Disney product always clean and beautifully laid out. It felt like visiting a fair every so often with venue for food and small rides. Sophisticated it is not. As you walk through the park there are areas and cages on either side with many species of animals and birds. Where you could see an animal it was often too crowded to study it properly and there were cages that looked empty but the animals seemed to be hiding as far as they could from the visitors and it wasn't a particularly hot day. Study the map but we didn't see anywhere to eat that looked inviting and it all seemed to be fast food and cokes. Possibly best viewed from an air balloon!!
