So I kept my girls home from school and taught them the right way to skip school, we went to Typhoon Lagoon. It is awesome when school is in session because the lines are short and the people in line are mostly foreigners who are way nicer than Americans. We had a blast.

This park is beautiful, with a lot of thrill rides. They do serve those great fresh strawberry
slushies at one of the Joffrey's (coffee) outlets and mini donuts at another, which I suspect that
kids of all ages (up to 100) like. Otherwise, the park seems perfect for adolescents
and very young adults. There is not much to do for older folks and small children. The lazy river around the park is the one exception, and it is very nice. We have annual passes, so we don't pay an entry fee. For those paying full daily price, it seems exorbitant for what you get (much less bang-for-the-buck than the other Disney Parks in Orlando and Anaheim, in my opinion). Also, you have to pay $2 to "rent" a towel. This is actually funny, but kind of sad, and not worthy of the Disney "Magic"I have come to expect over the years. You also have to rent a shady patio to have lunch (I don't know the cost, seats maybe 10 people). There is not much shade for resting otherwise, which was a big problem in the amazing HEAT of Labor Day weekend. I would not go again, nor recommend it to others, since there are so many great things to do at
Disney World.

If you like water parks then this is a place for you. Lots of different attractions to choose from all in order to get you wet. I really like the snorkelling tank area. Of corse the high speed water slides are just as fun. The only issue I have is the cost to get in and food cost while in the park.

Visited with my wife and kids aged 11 and 8 years, had a great time, lazy river, and the regular crashing waves in the main pool were great, a must visit for water enthusiasts. I have read some less than favorable reviews on this site including gripes about the size of the waves in the pool, it is not a secret so should not be a surprise!! Don't go close and you will be less affected. We had a great day there and would recomend it to anyone.
