I had a one bedroom deluxe suite which included breakfast. Not a huge selection for breakfast but very adequate to start the day. It wouldn't be worth the $9.95 they charge if you have to pay for it.You have to buy the coffee as it's not included with the breakfast. If you don't eat at the hotel you will definately need a car to go somewhere else.

The room was very nice and quiet with a full kitchen with everything you could possibly need. They don't come in and clean each day...just replace the towels, empty the trash and make the bed. This service is very sporatic. Sometimes they come in the morning and sometimes they come very later afternoon. You never know when. There are no safe's in the room so you don't have anywhere to store valuables. You do get charged almost $13 per day extra for resort fee + tax.

The staff was very cheerful and helpful. Most speak Spanish/English so expect strong accents. The hotel was very clean. The king size bed was well worn in and too soft for me.
The bathroom is huge and a great shower. They could use a better shower head in the shower. A shame to have a wonderful large shower and a $5 shower head.

Overall ....a nice hotel with excellent accomodations and a nice pool area.

As it was only two of us, we stayed in the studio. Agree with everyone that the space is nicely set up and it is an excellent value considering the convenience of the location. We had a car so can't comment on using shuttle. Didn't seem like there would be much within walking distance either in terms of attractions or restaurants. Just be aware that the kitchen in the studio is only a microwave and a small refrigerator so hard to make a true meal. Kitchen was very minimally equipped - two glasses, two mugs etc. We were there for five nights. I think that warrants the room being cleaned once during that time. Many days came back at 4, after having been gone from 8 am, and bed had not been made nor towels refreshed. Also wish they had ice machines on floors. Find it an inconvenience to have to go to front desk to have someone go get you ice and didn't feel right to call to have ice brought up. Also agree with other reviewers that in this day and age there should be wifi in rooms. Many people in lobby and pool area using their ipads, etc. Pool area was pleasant, without any bells and whistles, but not a problem to find a lounge or seating. The exercise room was rather basic, lacking a television, mats, weights, but also did not seem to be in big demand. Parking is crowded and many spaces a bit of a hike from the front door. Realized after the first night that people were parking on the lawn next to the building. So not perfect, (but what is), but overall still a good place to stay.

We were extremely happy with our stay. the staff was awesome and went out of their way to see to it that we were happy and had everything we needed. Angela and Fabio made our stay extremely unforgettable with their assistance. I would greatly recommend to eveyone to choose The Point Orlando for their stay in Orlando!!!

I will stay here again without a doubt. It is strategically located, just minutes from anywhere you want to be. Why stay in a one room hotel when you can get a one bedroom suite for the same money? The property is a great size, not too large - not too small. The furnishings in the units are fine, it has a nice big bathroom area, along with a full kitchen, should you be inclined to cook. Although I would have preferred a room facing the pool, I still had a small balcony where I could relax. All in all, a great place to stay, and I was in town on business.

Room Tip: Spend the extra money to upgrade to a suite with a balcony.

We had a one bedroom executive suite. Included breakfast and was very good with a good choice. Bed was great and pull out was fine. Very nice room with large bathroom, separate toilet. Excellent location to Universal, outlet shopping and restaurants. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would highly recomment and would definitely return.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view. Nice view of pool and bar area.

We booked this place based on an exceptional three-night Expedia deal, and its Tripadvisor ranking - and, given what we paid for our stay, it was great.

The hotel is seconds away from Wet n' Wild, five minutes from the Universal theme parks, and a short stroll from a load of restaurants on International Drive.

Our room was big and clean. On a balance, the in-room coffee 'welcome pack' was pretty grim - but the Starbuck's concession in the lobby was good. Free [slow] wifi in the reception area, and in-room wired service.

Don't expect views of jaw-dropping beauty - our room overlooked what appeared to be a spare parts lot for the water slide park, although the hotel pond had lots of turtles in it, which was nice.

This hotel seemed very popular with families - there was a free bus to the parks which was a lovely touch - and as a base for our Orlando adventures it was absolutely fine.

I never bother reviewing hotels but the Point Orlando really exceeded our expectations. Pay extra for the one bedroom suite as it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. The room was clean and spacious, the pool bar had great drinks and the pool was full without being overcrowded. To our delight the pool was salt water!! My husband is allergic to most chlorinated pools and can never swim with us but he was able to here!

We had a car so travel was easy - we went to Pointe Orlando for dinner and a movie, and went to Sea World the next day. I wish we would have booked a longer stay - we will ABSOLUTELY stay again. We live in Georgia and visit Orlando 5+ times a year (often staying on Disney property) and this is our new go - to hotel to stay in.

Room Tip: The upgrade to one or two bedrooms will not disappoint, especially if traveling with children or oth...
