This was our third time staying at this particular resort. We have always had a great stay there. We had requested a room in the 101 Dalmatians building on the ground floor. We were instead assigned to the Might Ducks on the second floor. While the location was not where we had requested, it was ok. Theming in this section is not as well done as in the other areas, but the rooms were clean and well maintained. A mini fridge was in the room and there is a privacy curtain which divides the sink area from the main room to allow for a private dressing area.

One downside is the time of day that housekeeping cleans the room in our area. It always seemed to be very late in the day. I am not sure if it was just our location or a coincidence. But, for the eight nights we were there, our room was only made up before noon once. The other days, it was closer to 4 p.m. Three of the nights they also forgot to leave soap and shampoo for us to use. But, after a call to the housekeeping dept. replacements were quickly sent to our room.

All in all, we would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a value priced hotel on Disney property. There is a nice food court, gift shop, arcade and three pools to use at your leisure. Laundry facilities are also available at an additional charge (coin operated)

We booked this hotel for a winter break trip to Disney and was told by AAA that we got a "preferred room" for $170 a night (approximately). There was a line for check in, where we were given our Disney bands to enter our room with (instead of keys) but they couldn't hook it up to our entrance to the parks, since it would register as two of the same name and cancel each other out. I didn't really understand, but apparently they are still working the kinks out of the bands. The lobby was crowded, with the food court (basically a big cafeteria with different food stations) and people waiting to check in. There seemed to be several large groups (bands, dancers) staying there. We drove to our rooms, in the Toy Story section and parking is free. You also get a pass letting you park at any of the parks for free (normally $15). It is cute to see a giant Woody, Buzz etc... in the area of our rooms, but I am not sure why our rooms were labeled "preferred" since there was nothing special about them. Someone mentioned it was because they were on the first floor (?). OK. The room, which was average sized, (we had a connecting rooms with 3 teenage girls) was basically a motel room, with a Disney border and some film strip touches. The digital clock by the bed had the wrong time and some of the lightbulbs in the bathroom were burned out, so I called maintenance and they fixed it. There is a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom, but part of the ring was detached. The closet area is just a pole to hang clothes on, the safe is an unfinished hole in the wall. The bedspread was flimsy polyester. I did not feel the Disney "magical experience" in this room although on the plus side, there was free Wi-Fi and plenty of Disney shows on TV. It was pretty quiet for sleeping, except one night when kids were running around and screaming. The food in the cafeteria, is mostly fast food junk, but they did have coffee (for more than $2) and drinks, including wine. There is a Mcdonalds right down the road that is convenient. All the employees I had contact with (cast members) were pleasant and helpful and the upside to staying here is that you can get into the parks an hour early (although with three teenagers we never did) and there are buses that take you to the parks. The buses run quite frequently, making it very convenient. I've heard this is the budget Disney resort, but at $170 a night, it's not that budget-friendly. It is a good choice if you don't mind no frills and want to stay on Disney property and fun for little kids. I didn't visit any of the pools, but they looked fun.

Room Tip: Toy Story is fun. It is a short walk to the lobby. Second floors might be quieter than the ground fl...

We stayed at the movie resort and were in the Woody section and it was exactly what I expected from a value resort. The room was very clean and always a new bar of soap and shampoo each day. Plus the convenience of the buses to take you to all the parks was well worth staying on Disney property. The food was also very good and staff was so nice and helpful. Would stay here again most definitely.

We stayed at Disney's All Star Movies this was our 2nd time we have stayed. We stayed at the Mighty Ducks. For the price it was great. The rooms were clean and nice nothing fancy. But we were at the parks more than at our rooms but they are very comfortable and safe. The only draw back was one day the housekeeper did not knock before she came into our room and we just got towels that day. My brother and his family were in the connecting room as our and she did not even go to his room. But other than that one day our rooms were spotless each day when we got back from the parks. It was very nice to come back to a clean room after a long day at the parks. The staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful. We enjoyed taking the busses to all of the parks and not having to drive. When we go back to Disney we plan on staying at the All Stars Movies again.

We decided to sound the last couple of days of our honeymoon here and are so glad we did. This may not be the most expensive resort within Walt Disney World but the "cast members" make you feel so special! From the moment we checked-in til the moment we left we loved the place. I had never stayed in Disney before the trip and I would totally recommend staying within the Disney Resort! The little touches went above & beyond to help us celebrate our honeymoon…Mickey & Minnie left a congratulatory message on our room voicemail, surprise gift in our room on the first day, and both the cast member who checked us in & the concierge member who helped us with our park tickets left messages for on our room phone. The service throughout the Walt Disney World Resort is amazing and we will absolutely be staying within the resort on our next trip!

First stay at a Disney property. Usually stay in town where there are far more choices at a better price. Although $150 is a good price for a Disney hotel, the same gives you 4 star in Kissimmee. Small room with musty smell. Mold in shower grout. Beds very stiff. Not a fan of exterior doors. On the positive side-excellent pool & food court. Disney allowed us to park there and then ride bus to Magic Kingdom without checking in. Saved the $20 parking. Probably will not return.

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at Disney's All Star Movies resort in Walt Disney World and we had a wonderful experience! The All Star resorts are known as the more economical resort options at Walt Disney World, they may not be as fancy as some of the other resort options, but if your spending most of you time in the parks (like we did) the All Star Movies resort will definitely meet your needs. Check in was super quick, we were greeted in the lobby by Zachary who was friendly, efficient, and expedited our check in while we waited in line. Our room was wonderful. It was neat and clean and had comfy beds. The best part of staying at the All Star Movies resort is the free transportation to and from all the Disney parks! Buses arrive at the resort literally every 15 minutes! The resort also has a huge pool, a great food court, pizza delivery service to your room until 1:00 am, a fully stocked gift shop, and a game arcade! They also offer great family centered activities like movie night by the pool. I would recommended this resort to anyone planning a trip to Disney World. It's convenience and comfort at a great price! My boyfriend and I will definitely be staying here again.
